| This design is for a SaaS business called "Projections". This software eases the communication process between designers/developers and their clients, aimed with one objective in mind, to get client approval. It eliminates the bottlenecks and headaches associated with managing designs, getting client feedback, and effectively communicating with the client through an intuitive and feature-packed interface. Designers enter their clients, create "projections", and upload their designs. Clients can review the designs and leave comments and notes directly on the design. Designers can upload new versions until finally the client has approved the projection. | ||

| There is no set color scheme, however, while being creative it should maintain a sense of professionalism and "corporate" environment. Avoid extreme and super bright colors. This does not mean the primary color cannot be unique or uncommon but shouldn't be too extreme or abrasive. | ||

Only requirement is the logo must lie horizontally. The dashboard layout is similar to facebook.com (short control bar at the top of the screen after you log in), so the logo must be able to scale down and fit horizontally. Another example of what I'm looking for is http://brightkite.com/. The logo is simple, elegant, professional yet creative, and is oriented correctly. I also like the use of corporate blues and creative greens. Another good example is http://tumblon.com/. Still simple, yet instead of the text being the main part of the logo there's a symbol to the left of it. The design may or may not include an abstract icon next to it. The only restraints are that it fits horizontally as depicted above. Again, the color scheme is up to the discretion of the designer. Whether to make the typography the logo or include a symbol next to it is also at the designers discretion. |
