The boss has changed our requirements slightly: please make all flames either solid blue or blue gradient and make all text grey to soften to look a little since we're going all caps.
#97: This is your best design so far now - nice work! With such a modern font, maybe try non-italic though. Also, keep trying other flame designs, as that one is good, but not great. Thanks!
#31: Great job with the A outline, love that. I think the colors should be reversed (Propane in Grey and Peak in Orange), and the font needs to be stronger and less common looking.
All: I've uploaded another file to show what the A should look like: Mountain_Flame_Letter_A_23556.jpg Please make your A in Peak look like this and the A in propane look normal. Place Peak on top and Propane on bottom. Now that this aspect is narrowed down, the emphasis is going to be on the font's feel!
#22, #23, #24: I don't like the A with the swoop and + symbol at the end. The mountain range on top is okay, but not completely winning me over. I think a solid mountain range design might look better rather than the double line to shape it if that makes sense.
#25: Not bad, but the flame is a little out of control... maybe try a more normal candle style rather than wildfire style. A little flare is cool (no pun intended!), but that design looks like the whole logo is going to catch on fire! Also, need some mountain range action in there somewhere.
#26, #27: way too feminine, soft, girly. Also, please only use all caps or small caps and only orange, grey, black white.
All: The basic concept that is developing as you all submit ideas is:
- The A in "PEAK" shaped by a flame. Not crazy, wildfire flame, but maybe a two line shape (one for the A outline approximation and another inside making the inner part of the A. Something similar to: http://www.clker.com/inc/svgedit/svg-editor.html?paramurl=/inc/clean.html?id=82792 but with a little more pizzazz like this: http://www.drawingstep.com/image-files/flame-drawings.jpg
- A long, low, solid mountain range above the text with a straight line along the bottom of the mountain range and a relatively short, low jagged top. Stretch from the far left side of the text to the far right side of the text.
- Futuristic, modern, masculine, sleek font with all caps or small caps.
#19 & #20: Grey is too light, propane is too girly of a font, flame is cool, but could we put it inside the "A" rather than having the A be on fire?
#21: Much better, strong font - I like that and the layout, but the flame isn't terrible obvious as to what it is if you were someone outside the company. I really like the mountain concept too - can you integrate that in your next draft?
All: Someone please try a mountain for an A in Peak with the opening in the A being a flame... similar to #16, but the flame in place of the three swoops. If needed, place Peak on the top and Propane on the bottom to make the proportion work.
draft #1: text too tall and mountain too cheap looking
draft#2, draft#3: wrong colors - must use international orange and grey
Not a fan of the circle containing the mountain on top shown in drafts #4, #7, #11. Much prefer the longer, lower mountain ridge style similar to drafts #6, #8, #9. The sun can be a little smaller and de-emphasized. I like the rising sun thing, but the main focus should be cool, modern font with the mountain feature. A smaller slice of the sun to shorten the height and having the mountain range stretch the entire length of the text might work.
draft #12: I never thought of using the propane flame with the peak together... interesting! Maybe use a better flame design and the correct colors and try again - cool concept though.
All: please try out some more interesting fonts - stronger, less boring, more futuristic/modern please.

#16: Best font seen yet but could still be more sleek/modern, I like the bold peak and non-bold propane look, mountain is too tall, not wide enough.
#17: Not masculine enough

Thanks for the quick response. Initial feedback:
