This logo is for a jewelry store in Chandler, Arizona, we have a retail location in addition to selling online. The company started in 2009, as Platinum Jewelry Warehouse or PJW for short. Our eBay user id for our eBay store is Platinum Jewelry. We eventually decided to buy a domain to direct customers to our eBay store, the domain name is www.shopjw.com The 'p' doubles as the last letter of shop and the first letter of our abbreviation for Platinum Jewelry Warehouse, PJW. We feel that Platinum Jewelry Warehouse is much to long to use as a logo. Since our url is www.shopjw.com we feel it would be best to brand the store as 'Shopjw" while still making customers aware that we are Platinum Jewelry, PJW, and Platinum Jewelry Warehouse. Our links include: http://instagram.com/shopjw www.facebook.com/shopjw www.shopjw.com Our primary target market is for Hip Hop Jewelry, such as diamond watches and iced out pieces like bracelets, rings, rosaries, earrings, gold and silver chains and more. We also sell designer brand name watches, women's jewelry, tungsten, and stainless steel jewelry. But our main market is Hip Hop Jewelry, we are also starting to focus on watches more. We want to convey an urban attitude, we are not a super luxurious brand such as Kay Jewelers, Zale's, or Jared's. But at the same time, we don't sell fake cheap jewelry. We offer quality hip hop jewelry at many different price points. Therefore we still desire some level of sophistication and a modernistic approach to the logo design. When people see our logo, we want it to be easy to remember, easy to connect it with shopjw and platinum jewelry warehouse. We would want our customers to say, "that's a 'tight, dope, sick, ill' logo" Key words for what the logo will represent and convey: hip hop jewelry, urban, street, hip hop, fresh, a warehouse of jewelry. |

If you google Hip Hop Jewelry, you can take a look at some of the top results. The majority of which do not have a super impressive logo, they aren't terrible but they also don't wow. Some of the major themes or ideas I have seen across the board for a jewelry company logo is to have images such as; a diamond, a lion, a shield, horses, royalty themes. In addition to general hip hip terms when referring to jewelry such as; ice, bling, hip hop, fresh, iced out, etc. My brother actually suggested to me that I should have some kind of building image in our design, since we are Platinum Jewelry 'Warehouse' i.e a warehouse building which is why I designed the current banner/logo on the www.shopjw.com homepage. But you know.. I'd like to take it to the next level maybe incorporate it better with the logo or maybe something different. Maybe have SHOPJW with a building like image on the left side next to the 'S' and with 'Platinum Jewelry Warehouse' underneath or something, just an idea. I'd like for the inspiration to come from our instagram page, facebook, our current design in terms of being clean. Also from looking at the competition and basically having a better logo lol. And lastly, I want my customers to come to me for their hip hop jewelry needs because we always have quality and new styles to offer at the best prices. We can custom order anything and will always treat them with respect and attention to detail. We want to be the kings of the hip hop jewelry world, we have a long way to go, but we want our logo to to represent that passion and journey.
