  Logo for new Christian Organization

  Ten Good Men

  If My People...

  Yes

This is the initial logo for a new Christian organization designed to challenge Christians to engage in active prayer for their community that leads to true servant-hearted strategies for impacting the needs in their city. Thus it needs to convey strength, courage, and conviction. It needs to communicate starting in prayer and leading to action... then returning to pray and again to action, etc. It needs to speak of a servant's heart, of a son doing something heroic for the sake of his parents or siblings or others. And if all that were not challenging enough to put in a logo, it needs to communicate HOPE. It needs to say, "We can do this. We can make a difference!"

Use some liberty, and I would like to see other options, but our thinking leans towards red, white, and blue with an emphasis on more blue and less red. I also like grey and steely looking blues. Needs to be strong but no loud!

Because of the prayer-leading-to-action theme... one idea could be a man rising from a kneeling or praying position. As if he were rising from prayer time and moving decisively towards servant action. The tag line "If My people..." needs to have the ellipsis included. Also the capital "M" in my is purposeful and refers to God. If it looks awkward to leave the "p" in people lower case, we can experiment with that. This tag line could be semi-subtle... as if noticed not at the very first time you see the logo, but not so subtle that it gets missed. I am open to design ideas though on how to use other images or abstract images to convey the message.
