This is a new solo venture that will provide marketing and event management services to small businesses. The idea being that businesses can 'pay as you go' for marketing needs and requirements without having to employ a full-time marketing manager. The logo should be clean, crisp and simple without being boring. Sophisticated without being arrogant, 'boutique' looking without highlighting that there is only one sole operator. This business is located on the south coast of NSW in Australia therefore needs to appeal to multiple businesses and industry sectors as I do not have the luxury of being able to select niche clients/industry groups as would be the case in a larger population area. The typical feelings I want to convey are: organic / natural / stylish / simple and uncomplicated - I am a huge fan of the latest modern take on the 'retro' styling of neutrals and black e.g. to give you an idea, at the moment I am constantly using Kraft paper or old newspaper cuttings with string and an old fashioned brown tag when wrapping gifts. |

| I am a big fan of black and neutrals and ideally these would be used as a base, although more than happy to be guided by the experts and also happy for additional colours to be added to create a wider style guide. I will be introducing additional colours for the website etc. so it needs to be something that will work on this level. | ||

Although the words 'marketing + events' need to appear I am happy for these to be on a secondary level to the word' Pepperpot' - ideally the logo would contain the company name but also some other kind of creative element/symbol which can be used as a standalone. I need to be able to use the logo across all kinds of media and backgrounds so needs to be something that can sit on non-white backgrounds (i.e. with transparency around it). If the logo is in colour I will need a black and white version aswell. For the website I am planning, I keep leaning towards images that contain wood / string / water etc - i.e. very natural elements. Thank you! |
