  Logo for Marketing Franchise

  Oxhard Marketing Technology

  No

Oxhard Marketing Technology is a company whose mission is to bring the best combination of proven and cutting-edge marketing technologies to small, local businesses via dedicated, local franchise owners.

What this means in English (versus corporate-speak) is that the logo will serve as the emblem for the corporation to sell franchises and as the primary identity for the local owners (franchisees) as they face their customers.

Oxhard Marketing Technology is all about making new marketing technology (social media management, mobile marketing tools, etc.) available to the local entrepreneur and helping them use those tools in a way that grows their business.

I want orange to be the primary company color (one of my few personal taste indulgences in this venture) with gray, black, and white as the others. If a secondary color is critical to a design idea, my first choice would be a green.

  not sure

This logo will be the first step in creating an entire corporate identity. We have several branded products (NEXFONE and NEXPRINT technologies) that will eventually require logos, so having an aspect that might transfer to those would be positive.

Also, we intend to develop a corporate style guide for using the corporate identity. Those usually define the appropriate alternate ways to use a logo (black and white, grayscale, inverted colors, etc.), so designs that include those variations will be appreciated.

I have some initial biases about how I think the logo should look (orientation, etc.). However, I don't want to contaminate the creative process up front. If the ideas I see don't match what I want, I will give more direction during the competition and extend if need be. I tend to latch on to good, new ideas, though, so it's likely I'll like an idea that isn't what's in my head now.

Thanks in advance to everyone who will work on this. I can't wait to see your creative ideas.
