Thank you designers! No real winning concepts yet. ;-(
For those who have included the state graphics in the design, it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe this isn't the right direction.
Let me restate what MarketCarolina is again to see if this sparks any new ideas:
MarketCarolina.com is a technology blog and resource, providing web development services. We help businesses in NC and SC market their business on the web.
So, words that come to mind when thinking about MarketCarolina: technology, web development, business directory, advertising, social media, blogging
Thanks again for your contribution to this project - I hope these suggestions help!

Is there a way to integrate the state outlines or state symbols ont he back of the hand or some other creative way?
I'm looking for some element that suggests that it's a technology blog / resource for NC and SC business.
First of all, thanks to all of the designers who are participating in my project. I really appreciate your work.
Here are a few initial thoughts:
- I think I prefer MarketCarolina side-by-side instead of stacked.
- I don't think using 'MC' is adding anything to the design...
Does this help? I found 2 websites with state symbols and state 'outlines':
http://awesomeamerica.com/northcarolina/
http://awesomeamerica.com/southcarolina/
Here's an idea possibly: We are a 'technology blog' offering web development services so is it possible to create some sort of 'digital-like representation of the states as a symbol' ?? Then, somehow integrate the symbol with words MarketCharlotte?
Thanks so much for being patient with me - and thanks for your work.
Just an FYI for designers... I'm looking at the word 'market' as a verb, I.e. marketing. So the website business is about 'marketing' Carolina and Carolina businesses.
Also, 'Carolina' includes both states, north and south Carolina. So maybe the logo should somehow reflect the outline of the 2 states???
Feel free to message me if you have any questions...

#16 and #17, not a fan of the magnifying glass.
#12 and #13, creative use of the state symbols.
#9 and #10, like your state graphics, very clean - but I do think straightening them out is better.
#14, i dont understand your concept there. ;-(
