My company name is Talent Matters. I am a business psychologist and work in the area of talent assessment and development. I work with a wide range of industries across different sectors to help them identify and develop their high potential talent i.e. their current and future leaders. In essence, I develop people; whether that is through one-on-one coaching, team coaching or large group training and development programmes. The essence is that I support organizations to develop their people, this in turn is improves their business performance and results. The name Talent Matters has a double meaning 1) My company is focused on dealing with all types of talent matters and 2) The philosophy that people are a company’s most important asset and their talent matters. The logo needs to represent 'difference' in some way (which connects with identifying high potentials or people who stand out from the crowd, creating a competitive advantage for company's through people who are different from other companies etc.) |

In keeping with the theme of simplicity I don’t think there should be more than 2 colours. I quite like the colour green. My friend mocked me up a business card and I liked the colour scheme and the idea of having the entire reverse of the card in the same colour green (see attached image ‘sample business card’) Business card The business card will be my most commonly used method of promoting my business. I want the reverse of the business card to be an extension of the colour and / or the logo. See the 2 attached images ‘sample business card’ and ‘HR Owl biz card’. I like the green and grey in the sample business card. I also like the reverse with the continuation of the logo on the front. |

*I am looking for a logo that represents 'difference' in some way or demonstrates the ability to identify people who stand out from the crowd. It can even reflect the use of psychology in some way which is the basis of my work as a business psychologist. I quite like the idea of incorporating the psychology symbol somehow if possible (see attached symbol for reference). Whilst my clients are corporate and the logo does need to be professional, I want it to stand out in some way and to be different or unusual. I would like it to have a double meaning in that you can look at it in different ways - something that is clever and makes your look twice at it. I have uploaded some examples of unusual logos (these are for ideas only, I do not want a replica of these images). There are some logos that use negative space really well to create a double image / meaning. It does not need to be black & white as I like the idea of having colour in it (but no more than 2 colours). However, please keep it simple as it needs to be clear and easy to see when shrunk down on a business card which will be my main forum for communicating my business. Just to clarify the essence of my business is about people and psychology.* |
