I withdrawn #31. it was a mistake uploading the design with wrong name but the concept was correct because first i withdraw the design from another contest then enter that concept in your gallery. See my entry#40 a new concept i created for your project :)
#15, still like that foreground building a LOT. Nobody has captured that like you have. Still, the text and the icon need to be more connected/integrated, and the fonts a little more professional.
#10 & #13, LOVE LOVE how clean and professional that look is. Please stay in this with variations on that style.
We are worried that one building shape is too central. First, we worry it will create trademark trouble if that's the only thing we have in the logo. Second, we serve all of Tennessee, not just Nashville. If there is a way to fill that out with skyline or shapes that show the buildings we serve or the kind of work we do, it would be brilliant.
I would just put it to your creativity to solve those two problems, while maintaining the sharp simplicity of the design.
#8 & #9, I like the icon you have come up with, but the curves in the top make it look like the upper body of a person holding two houses, not the scale you were going for. I also like how you used the scale base to make an L. I like the top choice in #9 because of the two thin lines, but would incorporate the base "L" from #8.
I do LOVE the message conveyed, that our legal skills will hold up your property.
#3 and #4 are the closest to what I am looking for, though the outline of the house in #1 and #2 is better.
Still think the circle around the images makes it more lighthearted than we need to be. Would be interesting to connect the image and the words a little more.
Can't stress enough the serious/professional nature of the business. Green, black, white, and then grey and/or beige would keep it more under control for this design.
Sharp, authoritative, professional, and serious are things this needs to convey.
#1 & #2: You took pretty much every one of my ideas/suggestions and put them all in one icon. Huge points for catering to the specific requests and giving a unique design that fits my business. It's a little too much though. There's too many things and colors going on.
GOOD: I love what you have done with what we locals call the "batman building." I love the way the foreground property is a house/apartment hybrid since we cater to both. I love the TN shaped for lease sign.
BAD: Not a fan of the sun. Not a fan of the orange color in the sun or the orange color in the signpost. I would use the words "lease" or "rent" rather than "let" in a sign. Also, I worry that people might see the shape of the real estate sign and think its a for sale sign. That shape of signpost usually is used in sales. Also, I think the coloring is a little lighthearted and happy. We do evictions, so there's got to be a more professional and serious air to us.
IMPORTANT: The "Landlord" and "Tenant" words are more important than the Tennessee words and should be bigger. I would switch the font size relationship to the opposite of what it is now. I would let the graphics do more of the talking for the Tennessee part. In this example, the "batman" building and the tennessee shaped lease sign say Tennessee really well (good job again on those), so the word Tennessee could be relatively smaller.
IDEA: Might try killing the circle or replacing it with something else, moving the batman building to the left, then having the words be a mix of above and beside the apartment/house. That might be a terrible idea. I just thought I might throw it out.
Of #1 and #2, I like #2. It will fit the upper left hand corner of the website better.
I'm new to this. I now see you do the stationary and business card process AFTER the logo process... which makes sense. So ignore any mention of business cards or stationary in this competition. Lets rock the logo.

This design is a really good look for the web, but we aren't sure how it will integrate into our business cards and stationary.
