The website/logo link I sent you to shows the logo for "Well Dressed Nest". The colors in it are vintage blue, goldfish yellow, light brown, taupe, light grey, light moss green. Most of these colors are in the icon displayed. This is what I'm looking for. Just enough splashed of color on the icon but not overdoing it. I like the colors gold and brown used in the text. Please look at the link again for reference.

My contest has been extended, however I am going in a different direction. I know I gave direction to make the logo simple, but some of the logos became too simple and didn't really show that I was an interior designer.

We're nearing the end of the contest. I'm still open to submissions. I'm looking for the look and feel of the Jill Elliott logo. Please look at the designs submitted. Not just interested in the one that she picked. I liked how they were simple, soft and feminine and liked the look of a symbol on top of the name.

I'm sorry if my comments have been a bit confusing. The designs have been great, so it's sometimes hard to convey how to combine aspects from one logo to aspects of another. Hopefully these comments will help clear things up:
1) The name of the company should be positioned as follows:
Another Eye (same size and font as Design)
Interior (smaller size and different font)
Design (same size and font as Another Eye)
Basically, a "stacked" look versus one long word.
2) Color--stick with blueish-grey, grey
3) Interested in seeing logo with white background, textured background (see attached link), solid grey background
Would like to see all three if possible.

I've noticed that I like the name of the company to look stacked versus one long line:
Another Eye
Interior (smaller & different font)

Another Eye and Design should be same size and font but stacked like above.
