    Hi Designers,

Thank you for many good designs! I really like orange and black or orange and blue as the colors. I like the designs with clean lines and not too much detail in the graphics. The only input I have received from some of my clients is that it isn't very clear that we are primarily a home builder and remodeler; we do some commercial construction but it is not our primary mission. Within the next couple of hours, I will either award a winner, or guarantee and extend the project, so if you have any more variations you would like me to consider, please go ahead and submit them, since I have not yet made a final decision!

    Thanks,
    Tom

Thank you for these drafts! I have sent private messages with specific feedback to some of you, so please check your messages.

One note for all the designers...even though "city" is in the name of my business, it's because "Hot City" is the translation of our town name, "Thermopolis." It's really a pretty small town. We don't have any skyscrapers (I don't know if we even have any 3 story buildings!), so I'm wondering if there's some way to convey a more rural feel to some of these designs? Most of our construction is residential, our commercial and industrial work tends to be smaller projects. We do some oil field work as well.

I'm finding I'm liking the orange and black colors more than red and black in general, so even though I put red and black in the concept, I think the orange and black or orange and grey has more potential. I would like something that will ultimately work in a black and white version too, if at all possible.

One more thing...I did not guarantee the project because it cost extra to do that, but I do intend to pick a winner, because my business is growing. I need a logo and will need to order new business cards within the next week or so.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Attention Designers!!

MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

    Thanks,

    MB/LDG Team

Thank you for drafts 1, 2, and 3. This is a really good start, and I appreciate your designs.

I would like to see if we can maybe incorporate more of a desert theme, perhaps? Not exactly palm trees; see http://thermopolis.com/ or http://thermopolis.com/todo/hot-springs-state-park/for more information about the community. Roundtop mountain is a locally well-known geographic feature, some pictures of it are available at http://www.summitpost.org/roundtop-mountain/455398.

A dinosaur theme might be a possibility, too...our town is a well known dinosaur dig destination, the Wyoming Dinosaur Center is located here. See http://www.wyodino.org/ for more about that.

I know this would be easier if I knew exactly what I wanted, so I am very grateful for your collaboration. Tom Lea
