Background a light green, starbucks green would be too dark - say like the green in google or ebay, perhaps a bit lighter. Or just white as an alternate background would work The jockey and racehorse should be black and maroon/dark red/ reddish brown I think The horseshoe should be gold and black highlights I think. |

| The Kentucky Derby annual logo designs are always done nicely - however I have prepared a sample using a good stylized racehorse where I then hand-drew a jockey and a horseshoe. The horseshoe should be more abstract in its presentation. The font for the words would be a fairly common font | ||
