Purple Moon Honey is something you would expect to be seen at Farmer's Markets, Artisanal Food Fairs, or Whole Foods Market. The logo feel should be compatible with this. This logo will be used on the website to represent the company as well as the primary brand on the labels of the honey jars. |

Purple is probably a good choice :-) Any other colors should be palette compatible with purple. As honey is the product, gold, orange, and yellows would also be compatible with the eventual website and eventual product label design. The saturation and hue should be compatible with glossy product label printing. (Please see attached uploaded images for examples of product jars. You can get an idea of the color background behind the labels.) |

I think it would be interesting to incorporate a purple crescent moon into the logo. Maybe a crescent moon on the left with some variation of Purple Moon Honey going to the right. I suggest also that "Purple Moon" is more important than "Honey" in the logo. Variations might make the word "Honey" secondary in emphasis to "Purple Moon" in the brand image. However, you guys are the creative talent... far better than me. I look forward to the ideas. Let the coolness begin! |
