Through the last 27 years, the focus of our construction company has grown more towards commercial construction, we have recently decided to dedicate some resources to a renewed focus on residential home building separate from our main (commercial) construction. We haven't re-worked our website in years (terrratechgroup.ca) Our logo is just a font (albertus extra bold), that, and our website is the next thing we need to work on. I have looked on stock logo websites, and the one that I felt said what I want to say, was one with trees, and a house incorporated together with the name (in this case Terratech) underneath, and sort of part of the whole image. (the tree formed part of the house in relief, the cloud formed part of the roof, you get the idea). While I like that look, don't limit yourselves to it, I am open to all ideas, and as with our construction projects some of the best ideas come from the most unexpected places. 2 or 3 colors, as we want to use it on site signs, and the doors of trucks. When our customers and potential customers see this logo, I want them to be struck by our creativity, see that we are a green (environmentally concious), builder, get that warm fuzzy feeling about us (you know, trustworthy, honest etc. but not stodgey and old fashioned, not your dad's home builder), and be able to recognize our logo from a distance (not too much detail) |
