Tagline 1 - Transforming Academic Excellence through Global Learning from an ideal to iDeal Tagline 2 - Growth, Preparation and Skills I want to be really clear that what we don't want for the logo is a globe with a graduation cap on top of it. That is not at all what we picture for iDeal Academy Charter School. This school will provide a higher quality education with the Growth, Preparation and Skills needed to be successful in a challenging world. We are committed to the overall growth of the student’s character and academic aptitude. We are preparing knowledgeable students to be socially responsible and aware of how their actions impact the environment both locally and globally. Students will be skilled as self-directed learners, and be connected to classrooms around the world using modern technology to increase their cultural awareness and their opportunities to recognize and respect diversity. At iDeal Academy we never ask the question “Can our students learn this?” What we do ask is “What can we teach our students next?” We will create an environment that students feel safe and comfortable in. Where they are not afraid to speak up, raise their hand or make a mistake. They participate because they want to learn and they are engaged. The aim of this school is to provide students with rigorous academic and social experiences that promote their development of strong global understandings, communicators, problem solvers, and collaborators, as well as responsible citizens. Instructional approaches involve inspiring students to challenge themselves to go beyond the boundaries of meeting the goals on standardized tests and to push their own limits to exceed expectations through meaningful academic performances infused with character development. The world has quickly changed and the skills our students need to be taught also need to change. The iDeal Academy is committed to educating the future leaders of America through an accelerated program that prepares students to compete on a global level as they grow and acquire the skills needed to be successful after graduation.
