Thank you for submitting your recent logo concepts. Over 300 designs have been submitted over the duration of his project, and so far we are very impressed with what we have seen.
We apologize, but due to the limited amount of time left in this project, giving detailed feedback to each individual designer is simply not possible. Instead, we will be listing our “Top 5” favorite drafts thus far, including what we do and do not like about them. Hopefully this approach will help many of you zone in on what we are looking for.
THE TOP 4 DRAFTS (listed from most favorite to least favorite)
DRAFT #252
We really like the puzzle piece in this concept. It really fits what we do, and the tie is a very nice addition. The plug in the “P” is also very neat! We LOVE how the designer created a “follow us” graphic box for GreenPLUG, although we do not like the actual graphic inside the box. The puzzle piece may need a little more color like the charcoal black. Also, the tagline seems too small. Would like to see a variation of this logo with the comments above taken into consideration, while also having another variation of the logo with the below comments taken into consideration.
**Another neat idea would be having 4 puzzle pieces that all piece together in a square (with rounded edges) with something different on each piece. Maybe a hardhat for construction on one piece, a gear for engineering on one piece, a person and tie on one piece, and something related to energy on the 4th piece. However, this would need to be done on a small enough scale so that it would fit on the left of the text in the logo **
DRAFT #160
This design is simple, yet very eye catching. The gear is really neat, and having the people in it is also a very neat idea. Also, we love the color combination in this one, especially the darker color. We also really like how the designer showed what the logo would look like in white with the dark background. This designer also took an extra step and showed us what the stationary could look like in Draft #178. While we don’t like the stationary design, we appreciate showing the extra effort. We think the gear and people could possibly use a bit more color or definition… it is almost kind of alien like. Also, “talent solutions” and the tagline should be a bit larger or bolder, or perhaps both.
DRAFT #144
This design is very unique, and can be interpreted in so many ways. In one way, it looks like a network with tiers of people, and in another way it looks like people sitting around a conference table. Very neat concept and nice addition to show us the logo in additional colors and on different backgrounds. Not sure that we like the font in this draft, and we also feel that the graphic needs a bit more color. Also, it kind of looks like a snow flake so I am not sure if that will work for us.

We LOVE the text in this design. Very neat how the designer incorporated the simple plug graphic in the “g” of plug! The tagline should be a little bolder, the graphic over the “u” in plug should be removed, and some sort of graphic should be designed and placed to the left of the text.

Thank you for the overwhelming response thus far. We are 30 hours into this project, and already have 48 logos that have been submitted! Here are our thoughts so far-
1.) While we appreciate most of you emphasizing on the "plug" aspect of this project, please understand that it is not required. We would also like to see logos that tie into staffing / executive recruitment, global networking, and/or the types of clients we work with (including the projects / industries they specialize in). That said, there are many things you can focus on other than the "plug". But, a plug would still be nice :)
2.) We like the color schemes from Draft #19 and #12. Also, we like how Draft #28 incorporated the plug between the "EE" in Green.
3.) Please realize that we will be using this logo to market our company's solutions to multi-billion dollar energy, energineering, and construction clients on a global basis. That said, please take a minute to research the types of clients we work with (including the projects they build and they types of professionals they hire)before attempting to design our logo.
4.) We noticed that some logos do not incorporate the tagline. The final logo we choose will need to be compatable both with and without a tagline. That said, make sure your concepts look great both with and without the tagine. Also, when the tagline is visible it needs to be readable.
We are impressed so far, but we know the best has yet to come! Thanks again and Good luck!
