  Yeah, I thought I'd try designing some abstract/modern/otherworldly/heavenly gate pillars rather than the standard. Thought it would make it stand out from other logos in the religious community. I'll get those pillars changed and add some color.

  OK... it's heating up now. We really like the gates, hands and cross concept in #23 and #20... Black and white looks great... but we also need the logo to be able to have at least two-three colors as well for mixing things up on web/print material.... Were looking for columns or pillars to hold the open gates up like in #17 and #18...

  Things are coming along and we are excited about some of the creativity being shown. Can we see the logo's on a black background as well? Seeing that we will be using the logo on the web and in print material as well.... Keep to two-three color designs...

  Also... please remove the arch on top of the brick columns that hold the gates... That will open up the top of the logo for more creativity when working to make the cross the center of attention...

  #11... your design is the closest to what we are looking for. However, it is a one colored logo. If you can do two to three colors and begin working on some sort of a path leading through the gate to the cross then you would be getting closer to the design that we would desire... Also... the cross itself needs some work... It needs some more flair, or possibly a completely different cross...

  Here is another URL with a logo that has the"open gates"... I'd prefer to have the gates open as seen in this logo with a path leading to the "tree of life" or a very distinct, yet powerful "cross" as originally described in the brief...

  The following url offers some direction by what I mean with having an "opened gate".... I don't want anything that looks "exactly" like what this url offers, but I have provided it because it leans a little in the direction I would like to go... Thanks!
