Feedback for designs submitted today:
Alisha - thanks for the additional designs. I think my favorite of the ones you've done is still #26.
Ibkxe - thanks for the additional designs.
I'm testing the designs with my testers and will finalize soon.
Feedback for Firman: thanks for the submissions. I like the subtle visual cues of competition / winning. It's quite smart. But I don't feel the fun strongly enough from it.
Hi Ibxe - thanks for #29. Would it be possible to show how that would look in B&W? I like the idea of turning the "I" into a badge/medal - it's a really important part of playing games online these days.
FOR THE BUSINESS CARD IF YOU GET THEM IN BLACK AND WHITE. THE ARE DIFFERENT SHADES OF BLACK AND WHITE AND DON'T FORGET THE GREY WILL BLEND IN. BUT I WILL STILL DO IT IN 2D BUT IT MIGHT NOT HAVE THAT SAME EFFECT
Would it be possible to have another iteration with:
- Text layout and size ratio of #5
- Colours of #9 (red and black)
- Flattened into 2D
I like the big imposing W + small G concept. Very memorable.
The reason for asking for 2D version is that I'm concerned about following:
- How would this look in instances where it appears without colour?
- Does it scale? For example, is it readable on a business card?
Hi thanks for submissions so far. Just some feedback on what's been submitted at this point. I eliminated Drafts #4 and #3 because the bubble-font, dice and chess pieces convey the wrong kind of games company. These are games for adult males rather than children.
Drafts 1 and 2 are interesting. It's very 80s, so it makes it trendy now, but it could become very dated as a look in 3 years time.
One other source of inspiration is Rockstar Games - their logo has a sense of energy to it, but looks like "serious fun".

The stripe on #36 is great idea. Is there a reason why you softened the edges of the characters? I liked the sharpness of #29.
Would it be possible to have a version like #36, which has the sharpness of #29 and is viewable on a white background?

How would it look on a white background (with colour)?
How would it look in B&W?
