I am a Physical Therapist by day but a photographer at heart. My photography is a side business that I hope grows over the years to establish me as a respectable fine art photographer/artist. I have a good eye for capturing beauty that others pass over. I pride myself in having a great eye for both subject & composition as well as using archival quality cutting edge media to print my images on including giclèe fine art papers, aluminum & acrylic. I am not a portrait photographer but prefer to shoot just about anything else that catches my eye ranging from underwater photography to landscapes & citiscapes. I'm looking for a sophisticated, clean logo that infers quality, professional artwork. It would be really nice if the symbol/illustration for the logo is simple enough that I could draw it as part of my signature on my artwork. A symbol/illustration that over time becomes recognizable as Doug Sturgess' artwork. I don't want any symbols of cameras, lenses, etc. If anything, perhaps something that features artwork hanging in a contemporary/modern space (this is just a thought, not a necessity). I'd also like the logo to fit/look good whether printed on a standard or square business card. My website is www.dougsturgess.com |

This is the final design I'm looking for. Of the source files I received, I only liked the second version but the word PHOTOGRAPHY should be as long as my name STURGESS & it's not on your source file. I also want to keep it clean above the line, that's why I want it below STURGESS (& as long as the name, too). It looks too busy having my contact info below so please omit it. Among the final source files, would you also be able to convert the illustrator file to a photoshop psd file? I've done text logos like this before in Photoshop, not Illustrator. It would be nice to have the design in a PSD file that I can manipulate with Photoshop since I don't have Illustrator. Thanks. |
