We have decided on a logo from validesign. Thank you so much to everyone who submitted an entry. We have a couple of colleagues who will likely be using this website to choose their logo. We'll be passing along the names of some of the designers to them. Thanks again!

Hello designers! We are still here...still deciding. Corporate is going to have a look today to help out with the final decision. Touch choice!

Thanks validesign. Like #75 layout best, but can we have white dogs instead?

VERY sorry to have caused any confusion. Accidentally finalized an item but it has since been reversed at our request. Just would like to say we are very happy thus far with the logos and are extending the project to make any necessary tweaks. Thank you everyone and may the best dog win. :)

Like the element of the outdoors in #62. We do all dog training outdoors.

#validesign :I mentioned the wrong number. It is only #54 which used our design concept.

  • 10 novembre 2010 05:35 qcssoft

#validesign : Don't you think your#55, #54 are using my concept. You have used my design concept on #47, #32.
Please play ethically. Other wise it will not be a healthy competition.

qcssoft is it possible to for us to see #47 without the tagline and also with either a red or black collar in the "dog"?

#32 merged with #36 would be cool option

maybe even try one with that tag line in #33

Also, like the colors in #36 if that helps

qcssoft that was one we liked on the oc dog gone project. would like to see something like that with Dog 101. wondered where all those good designs went. was hoping they would come our way when that projected ended.

Or maybe the colors are ok, but just need to be darker on the "Dog 101" on #21?

jtscreative we really like the chalkboard idea. Is it possible to do the chalkboard in the shape of a city skyline and then have a few more dogs in front?

Thanks jtscreative. The color of the dog is great. Can we try some different color combinations for the writing and background?

angelice, is it possible to create one more draft of #16 with the bone a smaller size (in proportion to the dog's head) and the bone colored white or an off-white with black lettering?

Hello! Liking the concepts in #6, #10, #14 and #15. Just a few comments on those: Eyes open on the puppy in #14 and #15 would be better. He just doesn't look like he's having enough fun! And maybe some alternate, more neutral colors on #6? And maybe the bone being all one color? The shape of the bone is throwing me a little bit. Is it possible to make it look more of an exaggerated bone shape?

angelice... really like the dog in #6. The cartoon dogs is a direction we like. Its just seems happy and fun.
fixdesign... the dog inside the compass "O" is cool. Direction. Only concern would be logo is gonna be on vehicle and it needs to be easy to make out and read.
We have to Golden Retrievers and Our Siberian Husky just passed away so any logo featuring those breeds would exciting.

Thanks for the drafts angelice and jtscreative! So far we are partial to having a single dog image versus the mirror image in the logo. Number 3 is kind of cool because of the similarities to a yield traffic sign. We offer a owner/dog training class called "Street Safety" so we can relate to it however, we are open to different ideas.

Just to clarify... this is "dog training" but emphasis is put on educating dog owners how to control a dog correctly. More often then not it is the other way around. These classes are regarded as high tempo energetic and lots and lots of fun for the dogs and the owners. Hope this helps. Happy creating.

Just thought it might help to describe a typical day at a Dog 101 class. Classes usually have 7 to 10 people with dogs on leashes attached to dog owners waist. From there the group will negotiate through the city. People and dogs alike are challenged with obstacles and distractions often found with in the city. With proper training and unique teaching techniques people and their dog begin to develop a relationship/bond and start to act and react as one.
