I wanted to thank all of you for your submissions, especially the two or three of you we kept coming back to and asking you to make modifications. Your willingness to do so was awesome. I wish that some of you who submitted late additions would have submitted earlier. There were a couple of promising designs there, but we just didn't have time to work with you on revisions that might have made the difference for your submission. I loved having all these different options from which to choose, but I hate that only one of you will be chosen. If you were not chosen, please don't be discouraged and keep up the good work.
Thank you for your continued submissions and responsiveness to my suggestions. Several of you are clearly working very hard to try to understand what we want. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are getting closer.
#2 Of the designs you submitted I like this one the best. Maybe you can continue to work with these colors and ideas only with a concept that is little more contemporary. I know I said in the project proposal that we did not want to be too contemporary, but to my surprise I find myself leaning toward those logos that seem more modern. However there have been a couple that have been too modern for my taste. I wish I could help define this line better for you and the other artists, but I don't know how to do that.
Thanks for the submissions thus far. At this point we've received 14 designs, and it's helping us refine our thoughts a little bit.
First, surprisingly we are enjoying the more modern looking logos so keep those coming.
If you are incorporating a tree into your design, we are appreciating tree designs with wide, straight trunks, that mimic the 100 year old oaks on our property.
Some of you have surprised us utilizing different colors to make different aspects of our name stand out. Some of those we are kind of liking. Please keep experimenting with that.
Please refrain from developing logos with church buildings in them. We understand church to be about people rather than buildings. Those of you who have submitted logos with buildings should not be discouraged. There are elements in yours we like. Remove the buildings and keep working on them.
The church is affiliated with Baptist organizations but feels more like a non or multidenominational church. In other words you can ignore our denominational affiliation.

#11 Didn't care for the building but like the way you set up our name.
#8 Really like your concept. Please try the same design with some darker shades of green.
#7 Need a stronger tree.
