Managing Across . Asia My ‘company’ is a management consulting firm (principally, Gordon Perchthold) based in Hong Kong that is focused on advising senior executives and management teams of Western multinational corporations (like ANZ Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, Allianz, Manulife, Prudential, etc) on building and managing operations in multiple countries across Asia. This new company image is a successor to my old company, The RFP Company, given the focus on helping businesses to configure their operations across Asia. The design of the logo image should convey a ‘global mindset’ focused on Asia, an expertise of both Western and Asian management practices, and an action orientation towards the intelligent application of practical advice (see the brief on ‘our service areas’ below). It must have a professional corporate image rather than an cute image. I have the URL for ‘ManagingAcross.Asia’ (as well as ManagingAcrossAsia.com) so one thought is to leverage the ‘dot’ within ManagingAcross.Asia by using the image of a globe focused on Asia as the dot (see my blog on www.MNCGuru.com). But am open to other creative ideas. Our Service Areas Drawing from decades of practical experiences in Asia from working with management teams of over 50 Western multinational enterprises combined with the rigor of academic research around the topic of Western multinational governance and execution in Asia, Managing Across.Asia assists Western multinationals in building and managing sustained operations across Asia. Broad areas of advisory services to senior executives include: a) Multinational corporate governance structure and roles to enhance guidance, oversight, and application of networks and resources to drive performance of Asian operations. b) Asia Regional Office structure, roles, and capabilities to optimally control risk to the enterprise yet retain local responsiveness while promoting knowledge transfer, and where it makes sense, realise multi-country synergies. c) Asia Regional and Country-level business strategies and operating models that reflect the diversity of cultural environments, market maturity, and competitive intensity. d) Cross-cultural leadership team alignment that extracts the best of Western and Asian management practices in executing toward a common direction and reduce the prevalence of operating silos. e) Multi-country initiative / project scoping, planning, team composition, and external expertise/resource configuration to increase the probability of execution success at lower cost points while developing the competencies of your company personnel. |

Take the following with a grain of salt - i.e. does not need to be followed. I like the goldish in www.mncguru.com as it conveys the exploration of old world map colour hue however, the challenge is that I do not want the image to come across as an old old company, after all, Asia is now the 'new world'. So not sure on colour. | ||
