Draft #9 - thank you for another draft. I still like your first draft (#1) a bit more because the symbol itself looks more cutting edge and 3d. Is there a way to make the gears look more 3d? Thank you tons!
I will reiterate what we would like the logo to convey:
- The text, "Making Systems Work" must be located either next to or below the symbol (must not be the logo itself)
- The logo must convey "chaos" to "sanity" or "disorder" to "order"
- The logo must be cutting edge (3D shapes preferred)
Some suggestions that we'd like to see incorporated (but not required):
- Gears - must have multiple gears working (different sizes to give depth). Can try and incorporate gears into the chaos to sanity illustration
- Wave/globular shape - a wave or globular shape might be easier to demonstrate chaos to insanity by making it messy on the left that transitions into a smooth, sleek shape on the right
Draft #8 - I like how you incorporated the gears again, but how gears work is that the teeth of one gear, fit within the gaps of another gear. In the logo you provided, the gears are intertwined which is not natural.
If gears are incorporated into the logo, we would like to see something to represent 'chaos' to 'sanity' or 'disorder' to 'order'.
Maybe as a suggestion, try doing something to the effect of a 3D wave of some sort where the left end is made up of disconnected gears (some space between them) or gears that do not fit which then transitions to gears getting closer together and then on the right end, all gears fit into place.
Draft #5 - Looks good. I like how you incorporated the gear into it. If gears are in the logo, we would like to see multiple gears working together instead of just the one. Also, we would like to refrain from acronyms in the logo and hoping to just get a symbol to represent what we do (i.e. transform an organization's chaos to sanity through iterations of strategy/analysis/improvement).
Draft #4 - I like how you played on the W with some illustrations. I think we'd like to see something a bit more cutting edge. The name is fairly wordy which is why we would prefer the logo to be more of a symbol with the "Making Systems Work" as small text next or below the symbol.
Possibly incorporating gears into the logo, while being able to represent chaos transitioning into sanity. Gears is a good depiction of what Making Systems Work essentially does as well - all parts must work well in order for the entire organization to work optimally.

Draft #3 – The elements of the design I like most are the incorporation of people, the colours and how they transition from dark to light as well as the font.
The logo needs to be updated to incorporate our company’s main focus, which is improving the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of an organization's people, processes and tools as outlined in the brief. Basically we want to make sure that when people see the logo, they see something in disarray transition into something smooth or efficient.
Draft #2 - I like the contrast of colour and grey as well as how the lines are used to make the image more modern.
The feedback I would have is that the circle does not convey the main purpose of our company which is to improve or refine an existing process.
Draft #1 - I like the colours and I like how you incorporated the transition between "messy" and smooth".
The concern I have is that the transition should happen only once and should start messy and go to smooth to represent how we would fix a process and then it would run smoothly going forward. I would also like to see a longer or more gradual transition from messy to smooth.
As an idea (but not limited to), would like to see a 3D wave where the left side of it is messy/disarray and then transitions to smooth, and sleek on the right. Preferably in a light blue. Other designs are also welcome.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
