Thank you everyone for your hard work so far. It's very much appreciated. Now that the project timeframe has passed the halfway mark, I'd like to refresh everyone on some of the primary goals of the logo design:
1. Timeless - The logo will be applied to both men's and women's apparel products, maybe more. It needs to be both simple and at the same time possess a unique quality to set it apart. Don't rely too much on special effects that produce highlights or minute detail that would be difficult to reproduce on the actual garment such an embroidery.
2. Black & White - It definitely needs to be primarily a black and white logo. Any other color variations you may think are useful please don't hesistate to show as well.
3. Symbol/Abstract element - While not as important as the main logo, I would really like to have some symbol to represent the brand. The reason for this is because is would be useful for embroidery and packaging. An abtract elment to the logo is also welcome if you believe it can enhance and set the logo apart from others in the marketplace, just don't make it too gimmicky.
#8 - 10 I like the direction these are headed. I would also like to see versions of it w/o an underline, one that is all black, and one with the burgundy underline, but the letter "K" is black. Thanks.
#7 This one looks a bit too busy due to the background image.
#6 I like the letter "b" and "a",however, this one has too many colors.
#3 I don't really like the font, it doesn't seem to stand out. Also, the symbol may be too generic.
#2 I like the logo and the letter "A", but I think that the logo may be coming across too corporate too be applied for this particular
#1 I like the simple clean approach in this one, but at the same time the superscript letter "K" and the thinness of the letter "E" seems to bother me.
#5 & #4 I feel indifferent about these. I think it may be similar to #2 in that it makes me think of a different industry.
