Hi Everyone,
Great work so far. So really great ideas. The purple tones are still great, but as requested please make sure you provide a version of the logo in Black and White also. As the logo must work well printed and as an embossing.
I don't think I am looking for a logo that is comprised of initials - so combinations of AB probably isn't going to work for me.
Also don't feel that 'art' has to be referenced. Something abstract might work, however I think an interpretation of 'Benefactor' might be the way to go. Think about the meaning of the word benefactor, could that be translated into a character or something that represents the act of being a benefactor?
Being a benefactor is all about giving to help a person or cause - in this case art.
Cheers guys, I really appreciate all your efforts.

I would like to see how the logos look with a bigger bolder typeface. I am thinking BOLD Didot/Bodoni style font.
Thanks guys.
