To all designers..
Please give your best to design this mechanical handshake for our symbol.
Simple lines:
The robotic hand should be easy to tell its robotic but it should NOT be too much decorated. A simple and clean design. Maybe the robotic hand's fingers could be formed of squeres with space between their parts.
The human hand should be a simple design too.
Remember that we need both hands of the handshake to be right handed (the robotic hand on the left side must be the right hand and the human hand on the right side must be the right hand too)
If you want to use colors in your handshake, please only use red for the robotic hand and blue for the human hand. Feel free to use a medium dark silver color, black or white or combinations of silver and red ech.
Remember that too much details will NOT be printable. This symbol will also be used in small sized cards sometimes and we want it to be clear and easy to tell what it is/forms.

The GEOMETRY of the handshake:
It must be a horizontal symbol with not a lot of height. Also the handshake must be as horizontal as possible and not forming a "v" angle on the design. A good example of geometry is #635 .

About the symbol now..
You can still try making abstract symbols but we came up an idea:
A human hand shaking hands with a machine/mechanic
hand..
This is a design of how it should look like.. but you should try to make the right hand of this picture look mechanic..

But NOT too much. Simple lines, and the whole symbol should be at least 50% smaller than the text design. Also please try not to overdo it with the symbol's height..
Any other abstract ideas are still welcome.. but we would love to see your ideas about this concept!

-specific instructions about the symbol placement and some colors we would like you to try on it.
Try to upload as much ideas as possible until then, so we have more data and ideas to analyze that will help us choose the right appearance for our logo design!

About the symbol:
Forget the globe or simple spheres icons.. forget about complex 3d designs..
An abstract symbol with 2-3 colors (maybe glossy or beveled or with some shades, its really up to your imagination), edgy and simple to remember would do the job. A symbol that is unified-mixed with the text design is a great idea too.. You could try this too. REMEMBER: Simple, yet beautiful.
Now about the text design:
Do not just throw random fonts with no further work on them. We need a text design that it will be unique, easily readable and original.
We will always be here, answering to your questions and giving you further feedback about our project!

You need to be able to see each letter easily
Non modified text designs ARE also in the game as soon as they have something unique on them. Some gloss, shadows, bevel, or anything that will make an ordinary font transform to something unique.
