Logo should be:
1.. easy to understand / straightforward
2. memorable
3. convey or give off a sense of strength and experience
4. a catchy and bold look that is modern with clean lines and graphically interesting to look at
5. text in logo can be lower case, upper case of a combo depending on the creative direction

  I will upload an example of a logo concept that we like. For business cards, stationary and envelopes, we like the watermark / shadow look that mocks the logo graphic to appear in the body (as a shadow) of the paper / envelope and business cards.

1. bold and modern
2. sharp, contrasting use of colors
3. creative and interesting

what I don't care for:
1. the abstract nature of the initials - may be difficult to make out what the letters are

Note - we are open to other concepts outside of this one - this is just one example of a concept with the initials.
