We are taking inspiration from the story of Icarus for our logo. We want to enable our clients to break out of the prison of the mundane and to give them the ability to achieve things that they formerly thought impossible. We aren't looking for a realistic wing, we want it to look man-made. It should look like a tool/apparatus. We would rather be closer to abstract than to realism. We even like the harshness of a art-deco style wing.We are open but were originally thinking the wing would be vertical/upturned. The logo should be simple and won’t contain any text. We will want to be able to include it on materials/merchandise. It should be something that can be stencilled, screened or stamped. This logo is something we imagine being painted on the side a tank/tool of war, it could be the insignia of a unit. We also see it as something that would the sign of a rebel/underground movement, something painted on the walls of an alley signalling to those that know what it is that they are in a safe place. |
