    Competition is getter tougher and tougher. We had to eliminate some good designs because we want to retain just the best. Everyone though is still encouraged to submit other great ideas. Thanks!

    Update:

    As most of you know already, we are now moving towards an icon separate from the text. The text (company name) will now play a supporting role. Our final choice will rest on the most unforgettable and unique icon.

    We also would like to invite everyone to submit a picture of their logo in a tshirt (white, gray, black, and red) and business card/membership card (white, gray, black and red). No need to design or add details. We just want to see you logo across media and see how well it holds up.

    Attention Designers!!

    MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.

    FONTS:

    We invite you to experiment with different types of fonts such as:

    Stencil / Army fonts like:
    Capture it
    Gunplay
    Dock51

    Techno / Sci Fi like:
    Coalition

    Fancy / Comic fonts too.

    Feel free to experiment with any type of font as long as it goes with the over-all design.

    Just avoid using Foreign look, Script and Curly fonts.

    Please don't let the optional use of the ninja icon limit your creativity. We are open to submissions that do not have symbols or those that used an entirely different / unrelated symbol.

    I like that you separated the symbol from the text. However, the symbol doesn't work for me. How about we make the symbol less roundish? The eyes are good, it's just the mask. I prefer the font you used for #20 and #22.

    I like the over-all concept. It's clean, has all the elements in it. I especially like that the symbol/image is separate from the company name. Over-all this is good. The only thing lacking is the WOW factor, something that would make it unique and unforgettable.

    How about we try another font? This looks too Tapout-ish / MMA-ish? Although it looks nice. Feels like a hardcore gamer. Can we add more texture?

    Ninja eyes: Most designs feature ninja eyes which show or depict rage, anger, threat. Please avoid using such because the logo might evoke negative feelings. Please try to use neutral eyes / stance. Happy/anime-ish/chibi-ish are ok.

    So far, most submissions combine a ninja and a weapon along with the idojo text. We think that it would be better if the designer only use one (either ninja or weapon, but not both).
