As inspiration I would like to refer to Retro cycling shirts from the 50-70's e.g. (leading"competitor") Rapha is build on old cycle team Raphael, equally I like the old BP logo which featured on many classic race shirts on the arm. The form of this logo is also fitting the bicycle frame logo used by cycling manufacturers and usually placed on the head tube. I would imagine a more modern version though i.e. retro feeling combined with modern input. Possible addtional elements in the logo could be 1963, just to suggest some tradition(and reflecting birth year of founder) I would like the words Bicycle Heroes in a style reflecting this feeling, but able to be used in monochrome on cycling wear, with the more illustrative BH logo to be used in conjunction with it as well as separately. Color wise I am open to suggestions. |
