  Logo for 3North Lewis Hall

  3 North Lewis Hall

  No

"3 North" is the most important part. "Lewis Hall" could be a secondary element (or not in the design at all). 3 North should convey (i) the mystical property of "3" throughout religion (the holy trinity, 3 days in the tomb, 3 crosses on the hill, etc.), fairytales (3 blind mice, 3 little pigs, 3 bears, etc.) and (ii) North as the dominant direction that is used to orient all other directions. In other words, both words (3 and North) and a specialness about them. In addition, the North Star is the one true way ... and the dormitory hall is at a Catholic school to the symbol of the cross is important (although optional).

For further context, it would be great to have something that represented the span of time. Over 30 years ago 10 women were randomly assigned to live together in this particular section of a dormitory. 30+ years later, at the age of 50, they are reuniting to spend a weekend together. Many of us haven't spoken in 30+ years. This is a logo to celebrate what we have experienced together -- and the connection that endures between us over time.

3 North is the most important part. It could be represented as 3N. Lewis Hall is for potential inclusion. It is not strictly necessary.
