Thank you all very much for your contributions - I am so impressed with the designs you have offered.

Bonita - you've really given me some food for thought. I'm looking at your designs and thinking which elements it is that I like and will be in touch shortly. The fingerprint flower is a lovely touch.

Pentracreative 24 - if you could change the name to 'The Flutterby Studio' and let me see draft # 48 in a dusky pink that would be great.

Kendel - I love draft #17. The Foot in the 'O' of studio is lovely. If I could see the text in a dusky pink & black that would be brilliant. In the black version perhaps the butterfly and foot print could be another colour to give it a little 'lift'.

    Thanks again

    Hi Bonita
Thanks for your submissions - would it be possible to black text on a white background please. The style of text seen in draft #20 and 2 butterflies as in draft #23. Thank you very much.

draft #17 - I really like this design. Would it be possible to see it with the text in a couple of other colours please?
I really like the green but just am slightly concerned that it might not stand out much on marketing materials - flyers, banner stand, advertising... Thank you very much

Hi again - I've just been searching for some imagery which I find appealing and these links might be helpful:

Thanks for your efforts in this - I think looking at the designs above I would like to see more of an emphasis on the butterfly. I want to appeal to young families and have a friendly, feminine and approachable feel to the brand. Another logo which I like is that of http://www.mariafarrelly.com/ but again I would like to be markedly different to avoid any brand confusion. I'm still drawn to bold colours as I want to stand out when at events etc but want to be careful to avoid it being gaudy, and simplicity I think is key to the design.

Do you want a rougher stroke for the font? Alternatively I could take the time to actually hand-write the text and scan it/digitize it for the logo. I'll give some more color options and a few more ideas on the butterfly theme also.

draft # 2 - the blue is lovely, not so keen on the orange. Although the font is appealing to look at and clear to read I think I would prefer something that looked more handwritten. Really like the butterfly theme and variations on this would be very welcome. I really like the colours used in this website (http://www.fingerprint-jewellery.co.uk/catalog/) but want to be careful that I don't look like them. Don't want any brand confusion!

My own ideas for a logo have included a butterfly or use of hand, foot or fingerprints.
All pieces of jewellery are bespoke and handmade.
