This is a logo update project. I have attached our current logo “Pilates in East” please try to relate the new logo to the old logo so that it looks like an evolution and not too disjointed. Here are two idea directions that we are interested in: Concept #1 Evolution of old logo into new logo – could there be some similarity or overlap? Concept #2 We may like an abstract logomark that can be used with or without the text of the logo, logo text should be useable without the logo mark too. Please note the "east" word refers to a location within our city not to the east coast or the direction east. It is more like uptown or downtown as a reference to an area of town that we are located in within the city. Please note that Pilates is different than Yoga. Many people confuse the two so be aware that we do not want Yoga poses or images used as we are a business that specializes in Pilates. For reference some of the principles of Pilates are: Breath, Core, Fluid Movement, Balance, Concentration, Control, and Release. These could be used for inspiration. I have also uploaded some other logos for reference and inspiration. Balanced Body is a leader in our industry Bovee Pilates LLC is a sister company (Logo designed last week on Logo guru too) The other logos are just other businesses (not related to us but in our industry) that we like. Obviously those are their unique designs and we want a unique design of our own but we provided them because we like the “feel” of them. Please provide original design ideas. |
