    #42

    * eye is cute, those please change the color of the ring of the eye from yellow to white (yellow feel like the character is sick)
    * #42 has much darker background than #12, can you see if you can make it more light background? (not 100% white as they are reserved for text box)
    * I understand you using a shade to dark the top to create the 3D shadow effect. Though the over #42 is a bit dark for us on the text, and we like the orange (real deal, real time, real fun) color from #12 more.

In other words, you are on track, can you make it so that having shade will not jeopardize the bridgeness and the tone. because I feel a bit depress with the Grey tone even though it's cute.

#44, it's probably too bold to use red color which may not work for all culture, though would like to see if that can be a bit brighter and see the impact.

Steinbock: We appreciated your new design, we like the 3D effect, not the character and the text this time. your #12 is prefect, (i share with you why. Your edgy design on text should be corresponding to the edgy text, not curve) and the text used on the slogan has moved from creative to ordinary now for #41.

in other words, stick with what #12 Give a little bit 3D. (don't over kill)

on the character, stick with #12, give a little bit 3D.

Don't worry about the gradient on the bottom, we like to highlight your work on the logo without shifting attention elsewhere

    Good job, FernandoCreativeMind.

You come a long way to create something very cute. we like the Eyes alot on #40. Though, the organization of the icons and words are bit dull. (you align every on a flat line horizontally.) that needs to work on a bit to create a edgy feel.

all: the overall shape for #12 is perfect for us. If you look at the logo, it feels like a actual pop up pin. We also like the fact a simple banner with our slogan embedded within. However, the character itself is the last element we are looking for.

i suggest you guys to model what #12 is (the overall feel) and create a suitable character that is appealing to young female and male. for example, i like the eye similar to #23, (maybe without the orange rings) #18 is not bad either, (the character) is within the range, just the eyes are over kill. the problem for #22 is look like X-man helmet and it only works for male.

i hope this comment will really help you all to focus on what we really want.

    thanks

for #18, we cannot really see the wording and give fussy feelings about what our website does, i can see the bell and other graphics, however, it's though to interpret how that link up to our core concept. Perhaps several more variation, you will get more closer than current post. Thank you.

Steinbock: As a boy, we love #22. though, we prefer the formatting of #12. the wordings for #22 is sort of weak and not as "pro" as you highlight the slogan. I have feedbacks that #12 logo is more pitching to female, however, they don't like the eyes of that logo. so i think it's a cross over between #12 and #22. Make it cute enough, and i like the fact that you don't focus on the hands and the legs on #12. i also see the idea of using the word "M" to illustrate the helmet. though, even i like it, but female may see if too "boylish". anyway you can use #12 format, and improve the character a bit either by making #22 more cute? or #12 to work on the eyes a bit. There is a reason why M&M not using the "insect eyes".

fantastica: we like the fact that you color adoption on the ball like design, however, it's very like the button for PS3. (white and blue line ball) Personally, i like the overall ball shape. though, it will be tough for us to customize. Color wise, that's perfect for us. the white and the blue gives people space and room to breath and not taking away the content of what we try to deliver.

Steinbock: Nice design, good color adoption, we want to custom the balls so that every merchants sign up our service can have their own character balls. In other words, foursquare allows merchants to have their own badge, we would perhaps merchants specific balls. anyway you can put some thoughts on it? also, maybe it's personal, will ppl think the design is more like a planet rather than a balls? I like the character, simple and not overkill.

thank you for trying to model the Myrcoburst. I hope my comment does not restrict anybody from designing our logo using their creativity. I was just try to give an example of our understanding web 2.0 logos. Not necessary mean we want to have one like myrcoburst.

one thing i can assure is the ball and the words should be align horizontally.

For the record your brief leaves a lot to interpretation, the biggest thing you emphasized was FUN.

Even just look at mycroburst.com logo, you can see some popular trend of designing web 2.0 logo is using background wrapped around the text, then a symbolic icons to reveal the essential of "ball on the map" or map within the balls. You can create a sphere in less than 5 minutes in photoshop.

We are looking for some creativity and someone really take our project seriously.
