Please provide more design concepts. All logos are missing the mark. Perhaps take a look at TV network logos to see what the majors have done with their mic box logos.
The logos are moving in the right direction, but they are not hitting the mark. Please continue to develop more ideas maximizing the space of a square (limited blank space) use a large Y (must be distinct- #31 could be an X), be creative with integrating a TV(like #22), and keep the fonts san serif, semi bold.
finaldesign: Sorry I didn't indicate #5 on my last message to you.
Nice idea on #19. What I like about it is... that it conforms to a square, has a subliminal effect, reads well on all sides of mic box. Makes the most out of a two color project.
Please stylize the Y more. See #18. The Y is used as an antenna.
finaldesign: Please further develop this logo. I think of MTV (80's) when I see it, but should be thinking of Gen-Y. Think millenial, but not futuristic.
Conform to a square, change font, and maximize space (fill box, needs to be readable from a slight distance.
raindesign: Logo must read Gen-YTV.com. The hyphen must be present. Also, please play with the fonts on #14 and provide a straight-up version (0 degree angle). Thank you
To all designers: Logo should fit/maximize a square creatively like #4. And the hyphen MUST be included. Remember it is going on a 2.5" x 2.5" reporter's mic box and all lettering must be visible at a nominal distance.

THESE DESIGNS ARE ALL FANTASTIC! It's going to be a very difficult choice now.
Thank you so much for participating in our contest.

You can also try a combo of just initials like GY or G-Y. Ultimately GYTV. The Gen-YTV.com can be added to the bottom as a tag.

Please review the broadcast logo samples in my brief. They are all straight forward, with minimal bold text. Graphics are abstract.
1. Gen-Y and TV are key to this logo. The .com is not so important and can be used as a tag at the bottom: Gen-YTV.com
2. If you add a graphic, please use a laptop for the TV. Gen-Y watches TV on their computers.
3. At this time, color doesn't matter.
4. Please submit more designs. If I don't star it, it's because it is not hitting the mark.

Please use the color scheme from raindesign:
electric blue, purple- draft #24

Stack the text, maximizing the space, and enlarge the TV to the right.

TV for Gen-Y is being viewed on a variety of devices like cell phones, ipads, laptops, computers, big screens, etc.
Please keep this in mind when you are thinking about TV. This logo needs to be on the forefront of technology, without being futuristic.
Thanks everyone!

Note: the mic box shown is rectangle and we have a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch box. All designs must fit snuggly within this space.
