Hi, thanks again for your second wave of logo drafts! these look very pretty and generally you keep impressing me with your hard work.
some of you may notice that i made some eliminations because they are kinda complex. I do see some very creative ideas on my last suggestion and i am happy to see it going that way. I am looking forward to the final drafts at the deadline.
i will also reach out individual designers to make minor changes on their candidates.
For all designers, you have been doing great job! each of you impressed me pretty much with your designed logos.
for those who wish to use attractive colors and designs, please note that this is a pretty traditional industry so a stylish logo may not fit for audience. I tried to see variances of traditional fonts and got again not that ideal image.
i suggest, but again not require, drafts change as:
1. "High Street" is a pretty british term, so if you can address the British image in the logo that's perfect. say a traditional shield, some image of london skylines could also work.
2. For fonts: Apparently old english font looks ugly. however some traditional fonts do appear much better than "times new roman" and "arial" fonts.
3. please consider this logo in two parts: one part is the picture logo and the other part is the character logo. Picture logo may appear much more often in name cards, title pages, etc so it should reflect kind of initials of this firm.
4. a "DON'T": please don't put the "I" as the short form of this firm. "I", for "Investments", is pretty general term in hedge fund and it doesn't really differentiate much. Try some other variances.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
