Thank you all for the responses to this contest. I never thought that I will get 186 responses to my request. I have quite few great ones to choose from.

We will make a decision within the next 24 hours.

Also, please look for my next contest for stationary design.

    Thanks again.

#120 - Tags '<' are mostly used in the frontend(xaml (wpf)) & ; (semicolons) are used in the back end or code-behind...
& They are seperated by a twisted bar here, symbolizing backend & frontend...
(Hence the symbol as a whole = Coding Semantics & Syntax)
    Thanks

  • 14 mars 2010 20:40 CDanH

    Dear CH,
    in #119 ,
The symbol shows the final stages of software dev & Deployment
Alpha Testing -> Beta Testing -> RC -> RTM
Hence ive used these four symbols to make a large symbol...
    Thanks.

Just made a change of the type face. Let me know if im going in the right direction.. Personally i think this type face is working best. It gives it that modern approach instead of futuristic.

    Cheers,
    Jordan

That's alright. if you want me to do anything else, or if you imagined it differently then just ask. Cheers

Sorry jmshaw, it didn't come out as I thought. But the other design looks cool.

Agrace: Nice one with nice fonts. Thanks. I don't see your signature combination of gray with orange. I like those colors too. :)

  • 12 mars 2010 19:19 jmshaw

Yeah that's fine. Ive been working on a few. I will load them up as soon as possible.

    Cheers

jmshaw: for # 77, could you please

    1. put the entire logo (including text) on a dark gray background just like #80.ROund the corners.

    2. Is it possible to make the bars in 3-D?

    3. Fonts "IT" = as big as it is now but only in small letters "it". These will be in larger fonts than semiotics.

First letter "S" of semiotics = make it same font size as of "it".

ALL dots for "i" ( "i" in it, 2 "i"s in semiotics) = make in a different color like blue or dark red or something like that.

All crosses for "t" = t it it and t in semiotics = make in a different color like blue or dark red or something like that.

traceygl: Thanks. I like the abstract symbol outline but not the center portion. Different color combination may be also look good.

Jmshaw: Since ahmdgw has withdrawn, could you please send me the same concept with your your colors and gradient effects. I assume since this was your original concept, ahmdgw will be fine with that.

gmsaw: Thanks. I like the #43 most among what I have now.I will keep it like that for now, if I go for it I will request to make the logo bigger or the fonts smaller and remove the gradient from text.

All: In the mean time I did some searching and found out 3-4 good ones that I like with some logo design companies. I don't know how to share it with all without violating the rule. The bottom line is that I value your time as much I do mine. I already have 49 logos from half a dozen people and I don't want to get 100 more for no reason. I also don't want anyone copy the logos I have seen on web but to get inspiration or an idea about my taste. I know for a fact that the logo design companies ask if there is any existing logo the customer like to get an idea of their taste. I just don't know how that question is addressed here.

    Any suggestions, most welcome.
