Thank you for your hard work. Please be advised that we have selected a winner (alocelja) and are currently working to finalize some minor changes to the logo. Once that is done, we will post the winning design.
There were so many excellent submissions that were discussed internally at length and frankly, there were several designs that could have been selected, so you should all be very proud.
Some additional general comments.
1. we will not use work that, to our knowledge, has been copied from someone else's logo.
2. We absolutely love the 3D and fonts that fade however please remember that we need one that can be reproduced on shirts (including some that are embroidered and there are only so many thread colors :) ). I understand this limits some creativity and color selections but a good logo should be able to be done in black and white and still be effective.
3. I see someone has picked up on the wheelchair. Good work. Wheelchair lifts are a good portion of our business.
4. Finally, we will select a winner today at 4 and hope to finalize any minor tweaks with that person so please get your work in.
You can all be proud of your work because we were certainly impressed.
Due to the large number of excellent submissions we will be making our selection tomorrow and work on finalizing the decision with that designer. I would therefor ask that you please have your final work in before tomorrow 4:00 PM EST.
One more general comment on what we are seeing, when FLORDIALIFTS is all on one line of the design and in upper case we are finding it difficult to read. If FLORIDA and LIFTS are capaitalized but seperate lines it is much easier to read.
When upper and lower case letters are used we have no trouble reading the name in either event.
@raindesign - your design is too closer to this link

just a friendly concern to everyone of you.
thanks...

As a general comment to all designers, we are leaning toward red/blue as the colors and prefer designs where the LLC is not as prominent as the Company Name. The designs are getting really good and appear to be improving with each itteration. Thank you for the efforts.
All, thank you for the great work you are doing. Please do not take my lack of comments about any particular design as meaning we are not interested. We have posted privately to several designers asking for minor modifications.
After those are done I usually like your first concept better :) That just goes to show you what good ideas you have right out of the box.
My initial "star" ranking is only my first reaction to an individual design and does not mean we will not consider it. Please keep them coming and I assure you they will be reviewed.
I PUT GRADIENT FROM LIGHT TO DARKER 3RD COLOR BECAUSE WHEN YOU GOING FROM DOWN TO UP YOU ARE REACHING TO YOUR PLACE GRADUALLY SO ITS FROM LIGHT TO DARK AND THEN SAME WHEN CAME DOWN YOU AWAY FROM YOUR DESIRED PLACE THAT IS FROM DARKER TO LIGHT.

RESPECTED SIR/MADAM,
GOOD MORNING I AM REALY THANKFULL TO YOU THAT YOU CONSIDER MY LOGO IN YOUR SHORT LIST.
SIR/MADAM ACTUALLY IN THIS DESIGN WE CANNOT MAKE THE ARROW SPACING EQUAL IT SHOULD BE ALIGN MANUALLY DUE TO THE DIFFERENT LETTERS ALONG WITH ARROW. AS FAR AS THE ARROW SIZES ARE CONCERNED THEY ARE BOTH PERFECTLY IN THE SAME SIZE.
THX & RGDS.
Great stuff. I am surprised nobody has used the universal symbols for elevator door opening or closing shown on call stations inside the elevators. I am not saying we would use it but everyone has gotten the up / down buttons nailed. Thanks and keep them coming.
I understand and apologize if what I have asked for is encroachment and will ensure not to continue that. I was merely hoping to point out what we liked or did not like in what we saw by way of reference due to my inability to articulate precisely what was interesting. Thanks to everyone for your hard work and please keep them coming and I will limit my comments by not referring to others work.
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I don't want to encroach on anyone elses design so if you have time could you send me a message telling me what you would like me to try next?
Thanks!!
Thank your for the quick response and good work. Please remember that we have these printed on grey work shirts and also embroidered on our sales team's shirts. Please keep all revisions up as we would like to refer to them.
I love the up - down arrows in #3 and #10 to convey the nature of our business. Similar to elevator buttons.
#10 I love you what you did with the FL (the abbreviation for Florida and the initials of our company Florida Lifts.) Also, the the up-down arrows were and excellent idea. Good stuff. Maybe moving before FL before the name and making the LLC smaller like in #3 would eliminate some white space. I love your color selection but not sure the grey would work on our shirts. This is so far our favorite.
#3 love the clean look and what you did with the llc to make it smaller than our name and the arrows. This is a very close 2nd to #10 for our favorite.
#8 and 9: I love the creativity but it looks like a fork lift company not an elevator or wheelchair lift company.
#4&5: I like the use of space and simplicity but not sure about the images.
