  maybe #54 and #55 need the house & roof pushed up out of the wave pattern, just so it doesn't look like a drop of water. (more of a house on a lake symbol)

  Looking at #54 and #55, I like the color combination (earth tone green and earth tone blue) - light blue is an interesting touch too- and overall style is clean and appealing. Just needs a different house/lake icon.
  
  Also like the colors in #49 and #47...grey tagline if it is used.

  I guess these are the designs that jump out at me so far:

  I also like these two that have a different style: #23,#27
  
  I like the how "Lakeshore" is pronounced above "Home Patrol", but I like Home Patrol to be two visable words, the entire length of "Lakeshore"
  
  As mentioned before, I like the house/water feature incorporated and the light blue/green and blue/green/grey color combinations...not exactly sure yet what color of green or what color of blue stands out the most.

  Any suggestions on a good tag line? The one I included in the brief was more of a company description (not originally intended to be used in the logo.
  
  Maybe "Peace of Mind While You're Away". Might consider using it in the logo if it has the right feel.

  Really like the blue/green color combinations. Wasn't originally thinking blue, but it has a great look and connects with the lakeshore.

  "Watch" maybe the shortest synonym, saves a lot of space for the layout;)

  I also think that we should keep the word PATROL because is the strong word and characterized activities that are involved but can be replaced..
