please visit www.lacreperiedesophie.com La Crêperie de Sophie is a 3 year old Mobile Crêperie business based in Cardiff, Uk. Sophie is the wife of the onwer/creator and the business was named out of his love for her. We sell quality crêpes and traditional and healthy savoury buckwheat galettes (origin: Brittany, France, where owner Loic is from) at markets, food events and festivals. We also developped some crepe batter mixes sold online or directly to a large number of caterers and crêpe businesses nationwide. We have created and run a network of mobile franchises (3 so far) which also use our branding and mixes. The reason why we would like to opt for rebranding is because we are now opening our first ever Cafe Crêperie outlet in a busy location in Cardiff Bay. This outlet will be a cosy cafe with traditional french features, warm colors, but also a modern and contemporain place, without being too fancy. Most importantly, we want the shop design and identity to be the ones of a brand that can easily be duplicated for further openings, but also across the product range: franchises, batter mixes (wholesale and retail), shops, branded equipment, books, creperie kioskes and small carts/concessions, etc). The interest from franchises is big already and we aim at opening a new outlet every year from 2012 onwards. The identity must be strong and genuine, reflecting the following keywords or USPs: genuine, authentic, French, luxury, affordable, taste, passion (for food), love (for sophie), quality, good value, loyalty. The identity has to be very legible, due to the fact that the word 'Crêperie' can be hard to read with some fonts. Note: we will tend to create a take away crêpe parlour for each outlet. This is THE massive drawing element which will make us stand out, as well as the fact that the griddles willl be on sight from the street.
