Thank you everyone for your creative input and all the adaptions with regards to our comments!
General brief:
1. We now decided against the circular stamp/seal, since it will be too close to our competitors. Feel free, however, to go for an oval shape or a square with round corners (cf. #56)
2. our favourite types/styles of logos are so far: #12,#45,#53, #54, #62, #67 - please read feedback below
3. regarding spelling: for "simple/plain" fonts we prefer to have Kochzauber spelled without capital letter: kochzauber(e.g. #53)
#34: can you try a small k and remove the star? #36: nice font. however we would go for green for the font as well as for the tree as key visual. also try a small k here. #43+45: both very nice, but we would go for #45 style. #46+#48: knife and fork are too bold/simple in shape. however, i like the color combination of grey-green and grey-orange. #44+51: actually nice color combination, but too "pale". stay natural, but go stronger with colors. for the circle in #51: please a little less elements #53: we like this one a lot. could you submit 3 versions: 1 - only font and seal "masked" on white background, 2 - seal with less elements and maybe another shape, 3 - the same without seal, only font between stripes. could you also try other color combinations? e.g. grey - raspberry #54: we also like this one a lot. could you please try to use a similar hat to the one in #33 ? #57-#59: please try 2 circles instead of 3. also make elements in circles stronger! #61,#66,#69: as mentioned above: please find an alternative to the "kochhaus" shaped seal, that would be nice! for the tree: we would like green leaves #62: we really like this one! especially that it looks a bit retro. for the elements: please try to find a good mix between vegetables, fruit, meat, pasta, etc. #64-#65: colors in 64# are nice. however, please be a bit more creative on the visual elements (knife/fork and vegetables) #67: we also like this one a lot! as already mentioned: could you change the shape of the seals and change the color combination (away from rose to a grey-raspberry version)? also: could you give us one version without the 3 elements on top - only the font in the two "boxes" (make the boxes a bit bigger and not so tight to the font) #71-#72: nice, but as for the others: please change the seal to a different shape #75-76: i like the color combination of red-black-white-grey, but those are too dark. it should be more positive and fresh. also: we go away from the seal-shape. #77-#78: i really like the "natural" look, as if it is printed on carton. please make a version without the "bell/cap" on top #79-#81: like the look very much. for #81: could you remove the people on top, and move the vegetable elements below the font? then it looks as if the font is "underlined" by the vegetables :) #82-84: could you do a combination? take the lower part from no. 82 and the leaf from 84. i don't like the "bell" on top
#41-42: i like the writing. for the illustration: we would like something less "magical". it should be more related to natural ingredients, cooking, etc.
i like that the seal is quite simplistic.
please try some other natural colors as well.
Thanks a lot everyone!
Here are some further thoughts on the submitted logos:
#19-20: very much like the idea and colors. however, could you try to make the letters more simple (less bold, like #7) and take out the glow/reflection?
#21: like the "natural" colors, but the illustration is a bit too confusing. could you try something more simple/easy to understand at first sight?
#22: the green could be more natural/fresh. for the illustration: it should be more about cooking than about the finished meal. could you play around with that?
#23: the font is a bit "too" modern and edgy and the illustration a bit too abstract. however, i like that it is clean and simple. could you work on that?
#24+25: the drawing is too rough and the name almost disappears. also, the illustration should focus more on cooking than on baking. a finer illustration would be nice!
#26-27: thank you for the adaptation! but the writing is now a bit too light/thin in contrast to the heavy stripes. could you do them a bit more bold? and maybe try also a two colored version of the name (e.g. Koch (green)- Zauber (white))
#28: the red is too harsh and the font too bold. please try more natural colors and sophisticated letters
#29: very nice! love the colors. they are very harmonic. also like the font and the hat. however, the fork/knife/spoon are too much/confusing. could you please submit a version without them and one version with only fork/knife/spoon and without hat? also, could you try to play with other natural color-combinations (dark green, dark red,...)?
#30: in comparison to #29: hat is not visible enough and font is too bold
#31: like the idea. could you make the font less playful and the colors a little bit more natural? that would be nice!
#32: very very nice. good elaboration on #12. i like the colors. but could you try to make the elements a bit more contrasting? i am afraid that the "fine" font and knife+fork get lost due to the nice but heavy colors and bold shapes of the tree and seal. it would also be nice to see this one in other color-combinations.
#33: i like it, but it is very modern and a little bit "american diner style". maybe you could try another "handwritten" font with this one. i like the red-black-white combination. maybe a bit more dark red and a dark brown could be nice?
#34: nice adaptation. could you try some other color combinations (still natural/fresh)? could you also do one version without the "star" above the fork?
#35: like the font and colors - very dynamic. however, the illustration is too abstract. reminds me somehow of a olympic games logo.
#36: nice adaptation. love the colors! keep going on this one as well. in order to stay close to the "tree image" try also another green-type.
#37: the font is too bold and the red is too harsh - that's why i like #35 more. again - the illustration is too abstract and it should be more about cooking and fresh ingredients.
#38: i very much like the idea, colors, and illustrations. could you please submit a version without the "handle" on top of Kochzauber? please also play around with other nice, natural colors (green, dark red, etc.)
#40: i really like your ideas and appreciate the effort. however, it is -in my opinion- still too close to Kochhaus (in terms of font style, colors, etc.)
Please keep working on it! (Btw: it is Kochzauber - not Kochzaüber :-) )
Hi Guys, it would be great if you would also like a "stamp"-like logo, where the name is included in the outside form and could be user (e.g. to be put on rice bags or pasta bags - see example: http://www.kochhaus.de/ but please not to similar, since they are in the same market).
Just to see another approach: we would love to see a logo just with a nice font.
Thanks a lot to all of you for contributing. We had some server issues therefore the delayed feedback!
Competitor to have a look at: www.linasmatkasse.se - however we want to appear even more quality-orientated, still young, appealing and fresh :)
# idea in general is really nice and good - however a bit too" funky" for us. Colors, font everything should be a bit more "clean" and "simple" - idea of having "exchangeable logos very good though
#2 like the idea - font maybe even a bit more "edgy" instead of round, maybe try as colors sth along warm wooden brown and dark rasberry red?
#3 and #4 looks nice and like the idea very nuch - only thing is that it will be tought to then determine a french/dutch name, where there is no "o" in it to place the pan/pot. Also, maybe still a bit too playful
#6 - like the idea/notion a lot. Could we try to make the font a little less playful and a bit more thin and straight. Also maybe take some "earthy" colors just to try.
#7 - can we try an even "slimmer" font? also can we try to make this a bit "handwritten" - would be in genereal sth that would interest me: a logo which appears like handwriting, not childish though
#9-11 - like the idea, like 11 best, first too a bit too distracting" from name.
Can we do sth with box but less "real picture style" more "abstract discrete subtle style"?
In general: name already quite strong and playful, logo rather a bit "contrary" and should take back itself a bit - like sometimes LESS IS MORE...
#12 - favorit - very nice! can we try to play around with that - colors changing e.g. raspberry and sth or dark brown and greenish..? Also, can we try to make font more "straight" and "stylish" - similar to this maybe?
#14 very different but like it as well can we make font abit more "handwritten" and maybe change colors of stripes a bit more towards greensih - what would be the interpretation of the stripes?
#16 can we make font without shadow and more like #12 also color a bit darker and stronger, still warm and "bread-like" - are there additonal ideas of the top ingredients which i like in genereal, just they could look more like cooking yet and more fresh ingredients not closed canns.....and more healthy ones
#18 seems a bit too much and from far looks like a sun.
LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE CREATIVE IDEAS!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH SO FAR!!!
