Crystal: #341 - hard to tell what this is, i think i'd prefer a subtle gradient or none at all, i don't like the font for "technology". #340 & #338 don't bring out any interesting details about the abstract images that are very visually stimulating.
Crystal: #326#327#329 - i don't want any abstract symbols that form a K. you might have a look at the comments that have been posted to see what's worked and what hasn't.
begaenk: #317 is definitely better, i think my only issue at this point is that the light green in the gradient is too light. the contrast takes away from the text.
begaenk: #316 is more like what i'm looking for, though the spacing looks a bit wide between the characters in Kahana. i like the spacing better in #315.
So I've said a few times I'm looking for a bold sans-serif font for "Kahana" ... the "Technology" can be something that looks more "techy". Just to be clear, a Sans Serif font is a font similar to the font used for the project name on this page. Times New Roman is a serif font. Arial is a sans-serif font. I'm looking for something more of the style of Arial, but not necessarily Arial unless it looks good.
rmm64: #263 is nice but the characters look a bit crowded. is it bold? if so, it might look better not bold. otherwise maybe some more spacing between the characters or a less bulky font?
begaenk: #247 is nice, there's almost too much contrast in the gradient though. the line you added in #248 feels a bit much as well, and i prefer the font you used in #247.
topdesign: #249 - i'm not very big on the abstract image, the font is fine for "technology" but I'd prefer Kahana to be more of a bold sans-serif style font.
zaif001: #251 has a nice font, the abstract image isn't very strong though.
minhmeo2011: #252 love the gecko, would prefer more of a bold sans-serif style font for "Kahana".
eanjo7: #258 & #259 are nice, i like the font & layout, would be interested in what you could do with the abstract image that is more jungle-like than beach-like.
minhmeo2011: #202#203#204#205#209#210 - the font looks a bit messy and uneven, not very big on the full palm tree thing
jynemaze: #206#207#208 - definitely like the font better, think it might look better without the line under kahana and maybe some more space above technology. #233 - of all the ones you've done in this direction i like this the most. could you do this with the same text from #206?
begaenk: #211 - still kind of hard to tell what the image is, would prefer a curvier font with the case Kahana. i definitely prefer the abstract image in #215. #217 also is a better mountain than most i've seen, but i'm not very big on the font.
iAmCL: #216 - of all of the palm trees i've seen yours are closer to something i'd consider, but i'm not very big on the idea of using a whole palm tree. it feels too stereotypical tropical. i've also been leaning towards the curvier fonts for Kahana and in the case at left, but yours looks nice.
reems: #218 - not very big on the font, the leaf is nice but could use some cleanup, maybe something that puts some focus on its interesting features.
smayra10: #219#220 - i think the reflection is a bit much. the light spot isn't really working for me in #221.
manualtHink: #222 looks nice, would be interested in seeing what it would look like with more of a stem and the text to the right of the image.
deepudh: #223 - of the three i like the one on the bottom the most, the image feels like it's missing something though
eanjo7: #224#225 - like the font, the image looks a bit like radial saw blades to me. #226 is nice, i think i like the font from the #224 / #225 better.
mmcarson: #227 - i like the new fonts and gradient on the image, the image could use some more detail though
sweetenemy: #234 looks best to me in the white on green (top), but the middle one feels a little busy and the image doesn't have very strong contrast with the grey on green. #235 is nice, but it looks like a leaf with a hula hoop.
boypentool: #237 - the font is nice, but i'd rather have an abstract symbol that doesn't represnt a K paired with that font, maybe a lower case T for the technology would look better or a different font for that word.
flovey: #144#145 i like that you brought plumeria into this. it seems like it could be balanced with some green, like in a leaf or something along with it. #146 doesn't feel so natural with the jagged edges.
artkeeper: #147#148 i feel like the little blocks take away from the natural feel of the leaf. i think i'd also like a darker green that is closer to something you'd see in a plant. the upper green section also feels like it jumps out, but the shape is kind of odd for jumping out.
reems: #149#150#151 - i like that you drew a larger leaf. it kind of seems to me like the border around it takes away from the interestingness in the leaf. perhaps it could stand alone without a border?
deepudh: #152 & #153 are nice. the stem from the leaf being so straight looks a bit strange to me though. the leaf could use some cleanup.
smayra10: #153 & #153 have a nice font. the orange bit looks kind of like an orange slice to me. i'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to be, i don't know that it goes with the leaf. #156 is really nice, i like that. i'm not sure if it's what i originally had in mind, but it connected me with some good memories. :) i also like how #157 looks with the new font. #158 looks like it could be a plumeria, but it's kind of missing something. not sure i really connect with #159. #187 is cool, it reminds me of a shower tree, not sure what the arc is in the background, the font is nice. #188 - not very big on just a palm tree image.
garbanzo: #160 - not very fond of the font, and i'd like it if the natural element could stand alone better without the shiney borders.
pan755201: #161 is alright, not very big on the font. would like the kahana to look less like all-caps arial and something more inviting, but still professional.
mutualtHink: #162 is nice, the coloring on the font though makes it a bit hard to read. i think with that look a capital K might look better too. #180 is a bit hard to tell what it is.
rmm64: #164 is getting there. the Kahana font still feels like it's missing something, but it's getting close.
mmcarson: #165#166#167#168#169#170 - company name should be "Kahana Technology", looks like you fixed that in later revisions. for the previous and #171 and #172 i'm not very fond of the line coming off of the 'h'. The lettering doesn't strike me as very bold either. it kind of blends in. i do prefer the font style for "technology" in #172. the graphic could be a bit more interesting too, maybe a gradient or second color?
nuklea: #173#174#175#176 - i'm not very big on any of these fonts. #176 is headed in a better direction than the rest for the font, but i think i'd prefer the K to be upper-case. the leaf is alright, but kind of boring.
odiedesigns: #177#178 the text piece of these is okay, the abstract images lack any of the natural element i talked about in the brief.
haxorFX: #179 - i'm looking for a natural element as an abstract symbol with text. the abstract image in your design doesn't really reflect what i talked about in the brief.
jynemaze: #181#182#183 & #184 are still nice, but the font is too blocky for Kahana. something with more curves and not all-caps or all-lower would be best. still think the images in #185 and #186 are too abstract. my feeling is that nature is beautiful and can stand on its own, it doesn't have to be arranged in a pattern to be interesting.
freelancerindia77: #189 - not sure what i'm looking at for the image, the font feels too light and not very warm to me.
esner: #190 - i'd prefer an abstract image that more closely resembles nature, some more color and a less cartooney font. #191 brings in some more color and i actually like this version more, but the abstract image still looks too artificial to me.
sweetenemy - #192 resembles a clover a bit too much for me, the font and colors are alright though, though something more alive-green would be nice.
eanjo7: #193 - this lacks the natural abstract image i was talking about, the font is alright but i'm leaning more towards something with the case of Kahana and more like the font in #195 and #196, though these look italic. it's not clear to me what i'm looking at in #195 and #196, don't think it really reflects the nature inspired imagery in the brief.
saiiah: #197 - not sure what this is, kind of looks like an alien on its side. :)
pan755201: #198 - not into the globe thing, even with a leaf. the case as "Kahana" rather than "KAHANA" looks better to me, and probably in a different font.
nuklea: #118 - something about the leaf seems a bit off to me and i'm not very big on the font.
flovey: #119#120#121#122#123#124#132#133 - the symbol still looks nice, but falls short compared to the feel i get from something that looks more natural or similar to a real palm.
arunsitole: #125 - looks to me more like a clover, the company name is wrong
jynemaze: #126 & #128 look good, very professional and solid. i'm finding myself leaning towards some of the more 'sans-serif' type fonts though, provided they don't look too cartooney or silly. #129 requires more inspection than i would like to see the natural element. same goes for #131, which actually looks a bit like an S.
reems: #129 is clear, though the font feels too cold to me. would you be able to try drawing one of the leafs of that type on its own in a fair amount of detail as the abtract symbol?
pan755201: #134 - i'm looking for a natural/earthy element, but not really a globe/map.
garbanzo: #135 - i'm not very big on the font and something about this seems plain.
saiiah: #136#138#139 - have a closer look at the brief. your designs are all black and white and involve symbols that don't relate to nature at all. that's not what i'm looking for.
begaenk: #137 - i can't really tell what the symbol is
bojoeus: #140 - the symbol doesn't have the tropical feel i'm looking for, i don't really like the font for kahana
nuklea: #141 & #142 - the leaf is a bit messy and the font is a little boring. the leaf in #143 is better, but the font is still boring. an above view of the leaf would probably be more interesting that shows some of the grain of the leaf and what not.
flovey: #81#82#83#84#85 & #93 are alright, the leaf looks a little sloppy, otherwise i would like it more. i see what you're going for in #95, i think i'd just want it to look clearly more like the image you're basing it on. in #96 i like the one on the left the most (#98 & #99), but it falls short to me compared to images that look more like silouettes of real palms or leaves.
rmm64: #86 is great, i'd be interested in seeing kahana in a different font. it may be that the font in #86 is fine, but i think i'd like to be able to compare it something a little less rigid. maybe with an upper case K?
manualtHink: #87 - hard to tell what the abstract symbol is, looks like a pine cone or a tree. maybe a little too abstract?
9bitesdesign: #88 & #91 - this doesn't really have the contrast i'm looking for between the symbol and the text.
reems: #89 & #90 - the symbol has gotten a bit hard to see what it is. i think i'd like it if the technology was as wide as the Kahana. of the fonts you used for Kahana i prefer the one in #89, but i'm leaning a bit more towards designs with fonts that are less rigid.
room171: #92 - really like this look. the fonts are good, the colors are nice. having a hard time thinking of what could make me like it more. i guess the only thing that comes to mind is that the orange looks like a color a plant would turn when it dies, but i'm not sure that i see death when i look at that image. i like your work though. :)
garbanzo: #94 i don't feel enough of the natural connection with the symbol and not really into the font. #97 brings more of the natural connection, but the shapes kind of take away from that.
jynemaze: #100 & #101 - the black and white isn't really working for me and the abstract symbol doesn't have that tropical nature element i'm looking for.
simplebeauty: #102 - the snowcapped mountain isn't very tropical to me. for me to go with a mountain design it would have to look a lot like the ko'olau mountain range, otherwise i'm leaning towards those that have images or silouettes of leafs. #104 is more like this, but the ko'olaus have a very distinct look.
smayra10: i still prefer the look in #79 over #103, i think the square shape of the border around the leaf helps balance out the font. i also prefer the leaf in #106 & #108 to the one in #107 & #105. for the greens i think i'd prefer more rich colors, and i think my other suggestion would be to work on the monstera leaf a bit.
drisos: #109#110 - isn't quite what i'm looking for, would prefer a natural element that can stand alone without the effects.
logoways: #111 - this look is alright, but it doesn't quite do the same thing for me as some of the other designs that have leafs that look more like real tropical leafs.
isaiah: #112#113#114 & #115 - the font isn't really doing it for me, the abstract symbol is a little too abstract. with #117 it's a bit too cartooney for me, though the font is better. the symbols i've been leaning towards have more of a real look to them.
deepudh: #116 - not really into the black & white and i want a symbol that doesn't involve a K.
garbanzo: #63 is headed in the right direction. i think i'd like it more if it was more of a closeup on the palm, it doesn't have to include the entire branch, and maybe a different font.
sherlock1504: #64#66#67 don't have enough of a professional look to me.
mickle: #68 isn't quite the direction i was thinking and the font is a bit strange.
TrueLove: #69 and #70 look professional but they don't have the feel i'm looking for in the brief. maybe try updating the abstract image to match what i was talking about?
reems: #71 - i like the feel of the top one, maybe if the image was in a sqaure instead of an oval and if Technology was under Kahana but in smaller letters? of the two drafts you submitted (#71 and #72) i definitely prefer the top one of #71.
raindesign: #73#74#75 - i really like the lettering, but this doesn't have the natural element i talked about in the brief. #76 isn't really resonating with me.
rmm64: #77 - looking good. any chance i could see the leaf in green without the borders or inverted color?
smayra10: i definitely prefer #79 over #78 and #80. could you try doing that with some green colors or a combination of green and brown/tan? also, the line that separates the two colors looks like it could be a stem to the leaf, but it's kind of connected in the wrong spot ... bit is a little confusing, otherwise looking good.
Some ideas for inspiration (search for these images): royal poinciana, ginger, plumeria, monstera, koolau mountains.
I like the idea of a simple and easy to recognize symbol that could be integrated into software and maybe even printed on hardware components some day.
---
rmm64: i like the look of #37. could i see it with some different font options for the Kahana part of the logo? curious about what it would look like with a more modern font.
monart: regarding #38, interesting font, not really into the symbol.
simplebeauty: #39 the idea is cool, the mountains would be cool if they were taller and more jagged (image search for ko'oloau mountains)
bojoeus: #40 not really into the fonts or the blocks coming off of the leaf. i prefer keeping the nature element natural, contrasted with a modern looking font.
manualtHink: #41 of all of the logos that have a symbol that's a K i find this one among the more appealing, but i think i'd prefer a symbol like mentioned in the brief.
room171: #42 and #43 are nice. i think i prefer the font in #43. the font in #42 looks too playful/cartoony the closer i look at it.
MRyaN: #44#45 & #46 - not really into the little person on there, the font is alright but i think i'd prefer a different look.
jynemaze: #47 & #48 not really into the k symbol and the font doesn't really have the feel i want to it.
flovey: #49 looks nice, not sure if that's a leaf or a ginger bud. a ginger bud could actually be pretty cool, perhaps if it was more clear what it was. for #50, #51 & #52 i'm not really into the K symbol thing. i think it's largely that i want a symbol that reflects nature in a way where the natural element can stand on its own and be contrasted by a modern looking font.
smayra10: #53 is interesting, but i feel like there's something missing. i think it's that the lushness of nature during the day isn't as visible from a night perspective.
isaiah: in #54 & #55 the leaves look kind of like they're falling off of the symbols, like they're not very healthy. with #56 and #57 the symbol is a bit too abstract and it's hard to tell what it is.
ianespinoza: #60 & #61 look a bit more like a logo for a travel company. think more of a lush tropical jungle and the things you'd find in there. a symbol of a leaf, a tree, blooming ginger or plumeria, something like that. i'd also prefer a white background.
MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out.
SurfDesigner: #23 is interesting, but it looks like clover to me.
smayra10: #24 looks a bit cartoon-like to me and i'm not very big on the font
room171: #26 is great, can i see this with some different color and font options? #25 is cool, but doesn't have the jungle feel i'm looking for.
reems: i didn't really connect with any of the abstract images in #27, and with #28 not very into the arrow and would prefer the leaf to look like it's modeled after a real leaf.
christopher64: #29 is cool, but a bit wide, and it looks a bit like the palm is being blown away, which isn't quite the feel i want. #30 is also alright, but i don't really like the beveled border. i real solid leaf/branch would be great, and i think it could stand on its own. i also prefer the font from #29 to #30.
bestkabir: #31 is interesting but i'd like to include an abstract image. #32 reminds me too much of the Enron logo. i like the font in #33 but not the symbol. the monstera leaf in #34 is great, could you try that on its own without the circle and half moon around it, and maybe with the text from #33? The mountains in #35 look more like snowcapped mountains you'd find elsewhere, not really a tropical island. Not very much into the leafs or font from #36, I'd prefer the leaf or palm branch to look more real like the monstera leaf did in #34.
reems: of yours in #16 i like the top the most, but it's hard to tell entirely what it is.
flovey: of what you've submitted i like #19 and #21 the most. i would like #19 more if the leaf was modeled after a plant i could identify, like a monstera, taro, elephant ear, or you could even go in the direction of having plumeria leafs and flowers on there. i'm not really into abstract generic leafs, especially those forming a K. #21 is nice, but i'm not sure about the water thing. i find myself more drawn to the mountainous tropical jungle feel than the ocean. there is an area on O'ahu called Kahana Valley that is a tropical jungle within a valley between two ridges in the Ko'olau mountain range, which I think is influencing how I feel about this.
logoways: for #22 i feel like i've seen variations of this look before as a symbol of collaboration. the green does bring an earthy feel, but the symbol doesn't evoke a lot of meaning to me other than collaboration and "i've seen something like this before".
Juayusta: #2 doesn't really seem very aligned with what I put in the brief. It's a nice clean look and I like the font, but I don't see any of the natural/earthy elements.
christopher64: I like the real palm look in #3 and #4, but the symbols are a bit big in comparison to the text. Perhaps if it was just part of one of the branches instead of the whole tree along with a nice solid font for the company name?
bojoeus: for #5 the font is nice, but the leaf arrangement feels a bit too unnatural to me. it's not important that the leaf looks like a K or anything. an abstract monstera leaf or something of that nature would be more in line with what i'm thinking.
freelancerindia77: #6 doesn't have any of the earthy elements i'm looking for.
andra: #7 doesn't have any of the earthiness i'm looking for.
deepudh: #8 is alright but could use some color. it would be nice if the leafs were modeled after a leaf from a real tropical plant in hawaii, like monstera or something like that. you might do an image search on hawaiian plants.
jianvinkyle: #9 and #10 are nice, but feel a bit more like it's advertising a travel company. i'm thinking more along the lines of earthy as in what you'd find in a mountainous tropical jungle.
mouqeetgill: #11 doesn't seem to be much in line with the brief.
isaiah: i like the direction you've gone in #12#13#14 and #15. it would be nice if the palms were more thick. if you look at the palms in #3 (which looks like it probably came from an actual image) they're very thick and not entirely uniform, like a lot of tiny pieces making up a bigger whole.

I haven't been a very big fan of the case being "kahana" or "KAHANA".
eanjo7: I provided a lot of details in the brief and there are a ton of comments that describe what I'm looking for.

saiiah: #197 - not sure what this is, kind of looks like an alien on its side. :)
pan755201: #198 - not into the globe thing, even with a leaf. the case as "Kahana" rather than "KAHANA" looks better to me, and probably in a different font.

flovey: #119 #120 #121 #122 #123 #124 #132 #133 - the symbol still looks nice, but falls short compared to the feel i get from something that looks more natural or similar to a real palm.
arunsitole: #125 - looks to me more like a clover, the company name is wrong
jynemaze: #126 & #128 look good, very professional and solid. i'm finding myself leaning towards some of the more 'sans-serif' type fonts though, provided they don't look too cartooney or silly. #129 requires more inspection than i would like to see the natural element. same goes for #131, which actually looks a bit like an S.
reems: #129 is clear, though the font feels too cold to me. would you be able to try drawing one of the leafs of that type on its own in a fair amount of detail as the abtract symbol?
pan755201: #134 - i'm looking for a natural/earthy element, but not really a globe/map.
garbanzo: #135 - i'm not very big on the font and something about this seems plain.
saiiah: #136 #138 #139 - have a closer look at the brief. your designs are all black and white and involve symbols that don't relate to nature at all. that's not what i'm looking for.
begaenk: #137 - i can't really tell what the symbol is
bojoeus: #140 - the symbol doesn't have the tropical feel i'm looking for, i don't really like the font for kahana
nuklea: #141 & #142 - the leaf is a bit messy and the font is a little boring. the leaf in #143 is better, but the font is still boring. an above view of the leaf would probably be more interesting that shows some of the grain of the leaf and what not.

rmm64: #86 is great, i'd be interested in seeing kahana in a different font. it may be that the font in #86 is fine, but i think i'd like to be able to compare it something a little less rigid. maybe with an upper case K?
manualtHink: #87 - hard to tell what the abstract symbol is, looks like a pine cone or a tree. maybe a little too abstract?
#104 is more like this, but the ko'olaus have a very distinct look.
smayra10: i still prefer the look in #79 over #103, i think the square shape of the border around the leaf helps balance out the font. i also prefer the leaf in #106 & #108 to the one in #107 & #105. for the greens i think i'd prefer more rich colors, and i think my other suggestion would be to work on the monstera leaf a bit.
drisos: #109 #110 - isn't quite what i'm looking for, would prefer a natural element that can stand alone without the effects.
logoways: #111 - this look is alright, but it doesn't quite do the same thing for me as some of the other designs that have leafs that look more like real tropical leafs.
isaiah: #112 #113 #114 & #115 - the font isn't really doing it for me, the abstract symbol is a little too abstract. with #117 it's a bit too cartooney for me, though the font is better. the symbols i've been leaning towards have more of a real look to them.
deepudh: #116 - not really into the black & white and i want a symbol that doesn't involve a K.

sherlock1504: #64 #66 #67 don't have enough of a professional look to me.
mickle: #68 isn't quite the direction i was thinking and the font is a bit strange.
TrueLove: #69 and #70 look professional but they don't have the feel i'm looking for in the brief. maybe try updating the abstract image to match what i was talking about?
reems: #71 - i like the feel of the top one, maybe if the image was in a sqaure instead of an oval and if Technology was under Kahana but in smaller letters? of the two drafts you submitted (#71 and #72) i definitely prefer the top one of #71.
raindesign: #73 #74 #75 - i really like the lettering, but this doesn't have the natural element i talked about in the brief.

I like the idea of a simple and easy to recognize symbol that could be integrated into software and maybe even printed on hardware components some day.

rmm64: i like the look of #37. could i see it with some different font options for the Kahana part of the logo? curious about what it would look like with a more modern font.
monart: regarding #38, interesting font, not really into the symbol.
simplebeauty: #39 the idea is cool, the mountains would be cool if they were taller and more jagged (image search for ko'oloau mountains)
bojoeus: #40 not really into the fonts or the blocks coming off of the leaf. i prefer keeping the nature element natural, contrasted with a modern looking font.
manualtHink: #41 of all of the logos that have a symbol that's a K i find this one among the more appealing, but i think i'd prefer a symbol like mentioned in the brief.
room171: #42 and #43 are nice. i think i prefer the font in #43. the font in #42 looks too playful/cartoony the closer i look at it.
MRyaN: #44 #45 & #46 - not really into the little person on there, the font is alright but i think i'd prefer a different look.
jynemaze: #47 & #48 not really into the k symbol and the font doesn't really have the feel i want to it.
flovey: #49 looks nice, not sure if that's a leaf or a ginger bud. a ginger bud could actually be pretty cool, perhaps if it was more clear what it was. for #50, #51 & #52 i'm not really into the K symbol thing. i think it's largely that i want a symbol that reflects nature in a way where the natural element can stand on its own and be contrasted by a modern looking font.
smayra10: #53 is interesting, but i feel like there's something missing. i think it's that the lushness of nature during the day isn't as visible from a night perspective.
isaiah: in #54 & #55 the leaves look kind of like they're falling off of the symbols, like they're not very healthy. with #56 and #57 the symbol is a bit too abstract and it's hard to tell what it is.
ianespinoza: #60 & #61 look a bit more like a logo for a travel company. think more of a lush tropical jungle and the things you'd find in there. a symbol of a leaf, a tree, blooming ginger or plumeria, something like that. i'd also prefer a white background.

smayra10: #24 looks a bit cartoon-like to me and i'm not very big on the font
room171: #26 is great, can i see this with some different color and font options?
Porteur du Projet
flovey: of what you've submitted i like #19 and #21 the most. i would like #19 more if the leaf was modeled after a plant i could identify, like a monstera, taro, elephant ear, or you could even go in the direction of having plumeria leafs and flowers on there. i'm not really into abstract generic leafs, especially those forming a K.
Porteur du Projet
christopher64: I like the real palm look in #3 and #4, but the symbols are a bit big in comparison to the text. Perhaps if it was just part of one of the branches instead of the whole tree along with a nice solid font for the company name?
bojoeus: for #5 the font is nice, but the leaf arrangement feels a bit too unnatural to me. it's not important that the leaf looks like a K or anything. an abstract monstera leaf or something of that nature would be more in line with what i'm thinking.
freelancerindia77: #6 doesn't have any of the earthy elements i'm looking for.
andra: #7 doesn't have any of the earthiness i'm looking for.
deepudh: #8 is alright but could use some color. it would be nice if the leafs were modeled after a leaf from a real tropical plant in hawaii, like monstera or something like that. you might do an image search on hawaiian plants.
jianvinkyle: #9 and #10 are nice, but feel a bit more like it's advertising a travel company. i'm thinking more along the lines of earthy as in what you'd find in a mountainous tropical jungle.
mouqeetgill: #11 doesn't seem to be much in line with the brief.
isaiah: i like the direction you've gone in #12 #13 #14 and #15. it would be nice if the palms were more thick. if you look at the palms in #3 (which looks like it probably came from an actual image) they're very thick and not entirely uniform, like a lot of tiny pieces making up a bigger whole.
