    Designers...

This contest has been extended. We needed a little more time to fine tune your submissions. I would like to reiterate that we are less likely to respond to a design that is simply font based. We are looking for that iconic element that will make our brand stand out. As always, should you have any questions or need direction, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Keep up the good work! Happy designing...

    Cheers,
    jackwagon

    Good morning Designers...

We had a thought last night for a design and was wondering if anyone would be willing to entertain the concept. This concept would incorporate the iconic "Jack" and the "W"? Something kind of along the lines of the Alpine Stars logo. Of course we'd like to keep it grunged up like the current drafts.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

    Good Morning Designers...

My concern is that the submissions received thus far are light on design. Meaning that we are hoping that the designers participating will bring forth some new designs that we haven't thought of already. The majority of submissions we have received to date are mostly heavy on font styles and light on the iconic element. While we ourselves are not graphic designers, we do have limited ability in basic font manipulation. What we lack is the ability to develop a creative way to incorporate our desired iconic element into our logo. I did provide some links to other logos we admire for inspiration in our brief. If you need additional points of refererence, please let me know.

Again I thank you so much for your work to date. You have been diligent in accomodating our requests and that is very much appreciated.

    Regards,
    jackwagon

As always thanks for your submissions to date. I fear I have not done an adequate job in coveying how we utilize the term "jackwagon". To us, the term jackwagon is akin to calling someone an idiot. It is sarcastic in it's tone and meant to be a bit of a joke. We are not responsive to anything with a a western/old west kind of feel. I understand that many of you are submitting from a country other than ours and our slang may not be familiar to you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you may have. I hope that this comment will help you in your designs. Keep up the good work. We are excited to see how your creativity translates into our designs.

    Good luck!

When developing the requested iconic element to your design, please note that we would like to see something that is unique to our brand. We have suggested using a "Jack" as in the game "Ball and Jacks". While we are not looking for a literal translation of our name, we think a "Jack" or something along those lines, would help our logo pop!

    Keep up the great work!

First off, thanks so much for the timely response to our project. We are looking for something more edgy with attitude. Think grungy steampunk but maintaining legibility. It is important to us that we have an iconic symbol or the ability to isolate the "J" or "JW", or "JWB". We are looking for something fun, but not cartoony.
