draft #21
thanks for the entry. I've got the logo about picked out for this contest, but I do like your concept for some supplementary art work with some modification. contact me after the contest through my website and I'll see if its something I still want to pursue.
draft #19
That is nearly perfect! I'd say a little bit thicker black border on red and yellow dots, and a little thicker white margin between green dot and "o". Not much though, just a little. That will be the final version and I'll Finalize and end contest.
draft #14
Thanks for trying the change but I like the smaller cloud better. Lets go back to working with draft #9. Please try
a) modifying the cloud just a tiny bit to increase the margin around the "is". It doesn't need to be as much as #14 and not the whole cloud, just the one curve arount "is".
b) modifying the inside cloud just a tiny bit to increase the spacing between the end of cloud and the word "it".
c) adding a thin black border around the red and yellow dot.
d) move the green dot back to inside the word "go".
This will be my final revision request. The next request will be for a final version.
draft #12
Trant - thanks for the designs. While I specified I wanted cartoonish on the brief, these are all a bit too cartoonish. I guess the "Web 2.0" description is better.
draft #9
I think we're very close to having a winner.
1) Please make the cloud a little taller to give the text more padding between the letters and the cloud border.
2) Please make one revision where that is the only change.
3) Please make a 2nd revision where you also move the sun back to the left and increase its size about 50%. When you position the sun on the left, make sure it does not stick out past the width of the cloud, but it can go higher then the cloud.
Please provide these revisions with the colored background variances too - great help!
draft #7
Lets keep the sun on the right. I like the dots a solid color, not the gradient, but make them a little darker like the edges of the dot colors in draft 8.
Only thing I'm wondering is if the cloud gets too close to the "g". Also, this logo will be used for smartphone apps which are usually square dimensions which might give you a little room vertically to space the design.
draft #5
Thanks for the submission, it is too hard to read and doesn't look quite professional enough.
draft #3
Thanks for the submission, I see where you were fitting it in with the theme of the website, but I'd like the logo to still look good when all by itself and this one has a little too much color and not quite professional looking enough.
draft #2
I'd like to try a couple more changes.
1) Lets try the sun twice the size
2) Move the green dot from within the "go" to under the question mark.
draft #1
Real Nice start. Can you do some quick variations on it trying different combinations of:
1) Sun a little bigger
2) Remove blue haze in background
3) Remove blue haze in cloud
4) red and yellow dots bigger
5) lower case "g" in "go"
6) anything else you think
