Logo is for a company called “Intelligent Design Industries”. That name instills both a secular and spiritual message. Logo should convey this company provides intelligent designs, (go figure?) This is a Christian owned company, so “intelligent design” not only implies the company designs are intelligent, but that the source of intelligence and design is the God of the bible. The logo doesn't need to force Christianity, but if it subtly or not so subtly implies God is the Intelligent Designer, that’s fine. One goal is to create a logo that conveys the origin of intelligence and design is God, but that man harnesses that intelligence to also create and design. The company may also be known as IDI, and may eventually become a conglomerate selling books, bumper-stickers, clothing lines, etc. (Think "Life is Good brand") The Logo should be graphically simple enough to be clear if embroidered on clothing, but creative enough to be mentally stimulating. My attached photo of sketches show a possible direction…the hand and light bulb are an attempt to combine God, man and technology with the concept of intelligence or ideas. The double helix image was also an attempt to incorporate the “design & God concept”. Logo colors should be kept to a maximum of three or four to allow for simple embroidering and printing set up. I like “edgy” and “creative”, but a simple traditional logo done well may be the way to go as well??? So there’s you mission Jim…should you choose to accept it;) |

| Not particular as it will depend on possible design, character or symbol. I'm NOT really exited about bright primary red, blue or yellow. Maybe something more sage green/cranberry-purple??? I'm picturing a purpleish DNA helix and Hubble galaxy images, but it may turn out that black and white are the way to go??? | ||

| Perhaps a modern, edgy graphic incorporating the initials IDI. Perhaps the spiritual concept of intelligent design. Perhaps a DNA double helix to imply design. Perhaps Large IDI with smaller lettering to complete “Intelligent Design Industries”. Perhaps the concept of God the Creator. Perhaps the Universe, galaxy, earth, solar system, fractals, babies hand, snow flake?...Whatever captures the concept of “design” combined with “intelligence”. | ||
