Please read my personal message. You'll find it in the "message" option on upper right hand corner.

Wow - fantastic to have so many new designs! A few suggestions for the last 4 hours...
#85, thanks for the white "IN" that helps, and thanks for a more hand-drawn look on the column. Can you take that farther? Can you simplify the column so it looks even less photographic and more hand painted?

In the partial profiles, like #78, can you make the volutes bigger (the curly part), so the proportions are more like in #79?

For #65 etc, can we get a version with the "IN" graphically distinct from the rest? Making it white with a black outline would probably work fine.

We'd still like to see a more hand-drawn, less computer-generated, version of the apple in #53.

    Thanks!

Great work! Can we see #58 with the blue/white/gold colors of #41? A version of #58 that was more abstract would be great too. Less like a photoshop filtered photo and more like a pen & ink sketch. Or a brush and ink calligraphy scroll.

We like the apples, but it'd nice to see a stylized version of those as well.

Great new work - thanks! Nice to see an apple show up.

On #55 through #58, could you try having "IN" using white text with a black outline - just for the B&W version. Otherwise we're stuck with inch-or-us when we go to B&W.

I uploaded a few images to try to clarify our feedback.

Now some feedback on particular designs:
#34 is a great idea, but the colors on the logo are a bit washed out. Can it be done in 3 colors so the left & right are one color, the top & bottom are a second color, and the front & back are a third? How would it work in B&W?

For the pillar designs, #31 etc, what about just a portion of the pillar rather than the whole top? Like only the top left corner of an ionian column, showing half the capital with part of the volute & part of the fluted shaft. Or maybe a 3/4 view?

#14 & #15 are nice, but a bit busy. They also look kind of like a doorbell - very button-ish.

Of the designs we've seen so far, we prefer those that do not have the name graphically incorporated into the logo (the I as a column or the C as a ball).

For the designs with hand-holding (#2, #5, #20, #24, #36, etc) it'd be good to see something more stylized & less symmetric. Less like clip art. Maybe not all the way to tribal or pictoglyph, but a step in that direction.

Of the buildings, #41 is the best so far.

Finally, it's not necessary to have 3 elements, and it's not necessary to have columns or books or rings of people. The designs so far are good, and we can focus in on how to make them fit better, but we're really open to brand new things as well.

    Thanks!

Thanks for all the great new designs! We have a diverse team here, so I'll try to distill the feedback for you.

First, the logo will most often appear in color, but it will occasionally be in black & white, so showing how it could work that way is very helpful (as in #35 & #36).

Second, we're interested in seeing something slightly more abstract or stylized and less pictorial.

I'll put specific feedback in a separate comment.

Thanks for the new designs! We need to make sure the company name always reads "in chorus" and never looks like "inch or us".

We're interested in seeing something like #10 with stronger colors. True, we're an education company, but we're not a preschool. The post-its on the website stand out because most everything else is black & white; leather, ink, & paper. Also, if there's a way to make the hands less sharp, that'd be good. Maybe a single connected shape?

#14 & #15 look nice but seem too busy.

We like the seeming strength & stability of the pillars in all the designs with them. The radial fill in the small rectangles looks a little odd in #19, but otherwise we like the colors in #9 #11 #18 & #19.

What does the Greek hall look like with three pillars? Is there a way to work the name into the building somehow?

Thanks for your designs - keep up the good work!

Thanks for the new designs. We like the columns in draft #4, but aren't sure about the big red block. It's nice that draft #2, draft #5, & draft #6 are pulling in the colors from the post-its on the website, but we think a shape with 3 points makes more sense than one with 5. (We focus on college, faculty, & students and our slogan has 3 facets.) In draft #7 & draft #8 we like the idea of keying in on the "C", but it's a little like we're squashing or eating the world as currently designed.

A draft of our website is now available. You can get more info on the organization there, as well as a feel for the graphics we have in place already.

draft #1, thanks for the submission! It's possible to interpret the logo as a star of David though, which we'd like to avoid.
