Sorry for the lack of feedback. All the images I was hoping would work don't seem to connect with the business image we are going for. At this point I'm at a loss of ideas and am leaving the floor open to anyone that might have a creative spark! Please have fun with your ideas and I'll pick a winner by tomorrow. I'd like to thank everyone for their efforts. If I have any ideas in the mean time I'll be sure to post them.

It would be nice to see it with a pencil sketch appearance.

Okay I have a request that is completely off track. I was wondering if anyone can design a logo using the spiraled rock imagery (http://tinyurl.com/75eewwz) with the color brown (59361D). It would be nice if it was 'earthy' looking with some shadows and no clean-cut lines. Sorry if this is confusing but I'd like to see some images without a wolf.

Okay, I went through and did a BIG clean-up. Although I loved some of the previous drafts I had to eliminate them because they don't fit our business model of simple, natural and clean. I'm liking the new drafts. I like the silhouette style of #129 and the fact that it looks somewhat hand drawn, would like to see more like this. I like the roughness of #142. The friendly but not too cute look on most of these is good.

Forgot to mention #104 is pretty neat too!

Yes! I'm liking these new 'wolf' images that aren't so clean cut. Draft #199, #121 & #122 are close. #123 is interesting but might be too serious for our style. I'll sleep on it and make more comments in the morning in the mean time please feel free to keep them coming. Thanks for all the wonderful drafts!

Wow, these are looking good! I'm curious, are there any imagines of a wolf that might not look so clean cut? I'm trying to find something that would match the font we used on our website. Something like this: http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-89401324/stock-vector-calm-little-wolf-cartoon.html. Or something more abstract. If you do a quick google search on 'honshu wolf' you'll see they don't look like the typical wolf, more like a fox.

Here is an image from our business card: http://imgur.com/J3q3W

We incorporated images with hanging persimmons which are traditional in the Japanese culture. Might help with new ideas.

I'd like to see some new designs without the wolf image. Possibly using some natural elements such as rocks, stones, dirt, sticks, branches, wolf prints etc..

Also, can we try a few different wolf heads, both nice and wild looking?

    OK!

A little too much black, I like the thin black lines of #55

I like the circle effect on #58. Could you try making it black like on #55? I like the color on #47. Vectorguru- I like your wolf head on #42, can you try incorporating it with a thinner font size and different colors? Anyone up for trying a wolf print instead of a wolf head within the logo?

I'm liking draft #47! Can we bring it together more without the tagline? Also, if the line over the u is not possible please use a simple u rather than with the dots. I like how draft #48 comes together nicely but would rather not have chopsticks. Also, can you try different colors? These are looking great!

Draft #20 could you try incorporating the logo into a circle with a thinner font size? I like the colors in draft #17 but want thinner font and without the tagline.

    Okay.

Linda I like the original wolf head you used in draft #17. I also like the small font used in draft #35. Is it possible to keep the line over the 'u' and not the two dots. Can we leave out the 'mind your food' tagline?

How about using the wolf head in draft #17 within a design like draft #2

I like Karen's simple font but would rather avoid using the zen circle (too many Japanese restaurants use this).

Looking good! I'd like to see more that are similar to the style of draft #2 with the bold black and orange colors. I also like the simplicity of draft #35 & draft #36.

I like the colors of draft #2! For some reason it feels like a logo for outdoor gear rather than food. Perhaps having the head only?

Also, I'd like a logo that is more unique to our business. Something that is simple/bold and differs from any typical Asian food logo(e.g. draft #1).

Thanks for your submission cassiopiea! I'd like to keep the font more simple and bold (see our website honshuwolf.com) Also, note the spelling of Honshū
