Hollywood Oyster Company, LLC is based in Hollywood, Maryland, USA on the shores of the Patuxent River (2 mile wide river part of the Chesapeake Bay). Hollywood Oysters are highest quality live 'on the half shell' oysters that are typically served by the dozen in good restaurants. (This means they are shucked at the restaurant and served fresh). The oysters are grown by aquaculture in cages. The logo will also be the branding on the waxed cardboard 100 count box that is delivered to the restaurant. Hollywood MD is named Hollywood because there are many holly trees in the woods. These are small evergreen trees with red berries. So design vision can come from the Hollywood movie town, from Oysters AND/OR from the holly tree/leaf/berry. I am open as to whether the word 'Hollywood' is prominent with 'Oyster Company' as more a tag line; or with all three words 'Hollywood Oyster Company' equally prominent. |
