Design #2 and #3. We like the overall concept but would like to integrate yin yang into the look somehow. Possibly the sun could be a gradient of the yin yang or something like this.
A note on #1, the Tomoe symbol is fine but we need to stick with the more traditional yin yang. This is because of the particular type of training which is more Chinese based. I believe the Tomoe symbol brings more of an Japanese or Korean element to the logo which is NOT desired.
Hi PH: #1 is the Tomoe symbol which means turning or circular energy. The tomoe is related to the yin yang symbol, and has a similar meaning, representing the play of forces in the cosmos.I wanted to do something a little different from the yin/yang! Hope you like.
Design #1 is a good start. It seems the background may be an attempt at yin/yang, but that is not the correct symbol. I do like the use of chakra colors in the balls and then surrounding the overall circle. It is my feeling that the text on top half of the circle needs some work to make each word stand out a bit more.
