unmancreator #142 - I like this logo, and I like that it's different - could you change the font/text a bit though? Have the 'Careers' less spaced out; and experiment with new fonts for the 'high impact'.
And coudl you try removing the square design by removing the left line and the top line of the square?
Not a big fan of the filled-in 'A'. Like that you're experimenting though. Would still like to see a little 'cut' out the 'M' - or other experimentation with very-subtle design flourishes.
Thanks for #161 - I can't really think of any ways I could definitely improve it - so I'd only ask you to try some subtle experimentation, just to see what we get.
Thanks for the selection of colours as well - perhaps, if we do use the 'high impact' brand again, we'll differentiate products with different colours. I think I like red best, but it's close.
#140 - I still think the basic text/font for this is great.
I think I prefer no highlighting on the colour text; but I really like the highlighting on the white-on-black, which you've done previously.
I still don't like the 'I' turned into an arrow. Could we have a design which is just un-modified text?
And then could you play around with the logo of #83, but making it so that it's not a quare design, and doesn't have unfortunate connotations?
1. I really like your experimentation with the rocket-arrow 'I', but I think it's a bit too in-your-face - whereas we're looking for subtle.
2. Could you try just with text, but where you just make a little cut in one letter of text somewhere? (like the Microsoft logo has just one little cut in the 'o'). For example, taking a little cut out of the right hand side of the left-to-right diagonal line in the 'M'. What I have in mind is just a little triangle cut out of the line; as if the letter has been chipped with a hammer and chisel. You can experiment on thsi a little bit.
3. Could you try making the font in bold? Or using a slightly different, bolder font.
For font, I've found the 'High Impact' in #83 about perfect; and the 'careers' in #138 really nice.
So could we have one design, in red, with those two changes made above?
Also, if you'd like to experiment with the logo a little bit, could you try turning the circle bit into an open-cut globe of the world? You could do this by keeping everything the same, but adding the shapes of the continents underneath the circle bit.
Our thought at the moment is that we'll often use the text part of the logo on its own, without the logo. The logo will be used, but only in cases where we want additional embellishment.
sandycreative, this is getting really beautiful - thanks for all the back and forth!
#130 has a much nicer 'A'. But I preferred the proportions of #129. 'High Impact' is slightly more squashed in #129 than in '130, which meant that the ratio of 'High Impact' to 'Careers' was exactly right.
I think, for red especially, this new highlighting works well. Would also like to see the same thing in orange.
Could you try a little modification of the text as well? E.g. an arrow at the top of one of the 'I's (try both). It'll probably look worse (a bit gimmicky), but it's worth seeing.
I'm really micromanaging here, but it's because I really like these designs: #125#126 - great designs. coudl you try making the arrow stick out *slightly* more than it already does over the bar? (I asked you to shorten it before, but I think you went just a tiny bit too far).
And could you try moving the focus of the highlighted part of the picture logo up and to the right slightly, so that it's off-centre, a little closer to the arrow?
And, sandycreative, can you try the red lgogo design, but using highlighting like you did with the orange? (i.e. colours of #122; but with the fading in the image of #119)
Similarly, sandycreative, could you do the same with #119 (which I really like)? i.e. have one with no logo; try some colour variations; try some other small variations on design.
alocelja, could you do #104 without the arrow, no flourishes. Also could you try putting 'careers' in a serif font. Basically give us as many versions of #104 as possible with different small changes.
sandycreative, could you try #119 in red, with both fades and flat (dark red) colour. Also, the letters of 'careers' are a bit too far apart. But I prefer the font of 'careers' used in #119 compared with #102. The proportions of #119 are also good.
Thanks for #109.
I don't like the red and black with that design, it looks a bit sinister.
Thanks for sorting the 'orange' issue.
I preferred the font of #82, which I think works better with the logo.
In #107#106, the arrow is too bold, and obscures the text, which is bad. Trying to incorporate the design into the text would be better.
#102 and #101 - I really like that the logo isn't square. I like #101 especially. Could you make the logo a bit smaller, and could you introduce fading into the black letters and white-on-black letters (like #104 has done, and I've asked alocjela to do)? I wonder if the logo would look better if it had a full arrowhead at the top right, rather than just a half arrowhead? I prefer both the fonts of #104 to the fonts that you use. Is 'careers' slightly to the right of centre, where it should be?
A lot of people have liked #93, so it's worth playing around with that idea too; changing fonts etc.
Thanks for trying some of these ideas out! Of the new ones, I like #104 the best. It's the right level of subtlety. I think that the arrow goes slightly too high. I also think it would be cool if some flourish was incorporated onto other letters, in addition to the 'I' in 'HIGH'. With #104, especially in the black-and-white alternative design, it makes me wonder whether we can bring in the cityscape idea again - with the tops of the letters turning into the tops of skyscrapers. Just an idea though. I really like the fading in the lettering of #104 in the black-and-white. Could you try doing the same with the colour version (having the top of the letters ever so slightly lighter, and fading into the colour, perhaps). Also, is the 'careers' in #104 slightly off-centre - slightly to the left of where it should be?
Er, I really like all of the three colour schemes you've given. I currently like the red and black the most.

We're also really liking the white-on-black.

Also, I don't like the 'A' font of #123 and #125
I like the experimentation with #128. I don't think it's quite right, but keep going. Something to suggest progression, or impact, would be cool.

Could I see #104 with the 'careers' text right aligned. Would also love to see adaptations of this design.

I'm not a big fan of square logo designs. They look homemade and a bit boring.

I would love to see some more designs like #104 and #105. Almost text only with a graphical embellishment. They are looking good though.
